Ensures content of submissions is complete; obtains additional information from Retail Producers and Account Managers as needed. Markets to carrier to obtain quotes, negotiate pricing, define coverage's, and determine commissions ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Evaluates new and renewal business in accordance with established underwriting guidelines in order to achieve goals of profit, rate and growth; Manages preparation of program renewal specifications and distribution to markets; Participates in all appropriate committees as recognized in managed programs; Works with program’s insurance/reinsurance markets to formalize and implement annual business plan; Manages renewal expiration lists and creates timelines for renewals; Reviews policies and endorsements to identify errors or omissions to ensure agreement with binding order; reviews for discrepancies with application, quote, proposal, and/or binder; Orders necessary reports such as credit, location, motor vehicle, and/or inspection reports, as well as building cost estimates; Analyzes inspection reports to accept or reject new business; Coordinates the preparation of policy delivery with all related documents; Issues policies and endorsements; binds coverage and coordinates binders/evidences; Technical expert assisting management, staff, producers, carriers and account managers with resolving complex issues; Coordinates the preparation and distribution of management reports; Maintains and manages coverage bordereaux; Manages and delegates work to underwriters, assistant underwriters and administrative staff; monitors to ensure timely and accurate completion; Maintains updated logs; submissions, written or lost business; Maintains files, historical data and client suspense; conducts follow-ups as appropriate; Coordinates underwriting audits; Complies with agency management system data standards and data integrity (enters and maintains complete and accurate information); Other duties as assigned. • Partner on the Printers P&L as the key finance business partner across all cost centers (Laser, EBM and selected HQ functions) • Drive financial operations and productivity by owning spend tracking, PO requisitions, cost productivity projects and supporting month/quarter close, including journal entries and required reporting • Standardize and simplify allocations, reporting and core finance processes with Additive HQ and facility management to reduce complexity, rework and ensure accurate cost allocation to engineering, services and other pillars • Lead planning, forecasting and metrics for the Printers P&L, including budgets, forecasts, hands-on analysis and continuous improvement of cost tracking and analytics models, plus documenting methodology and training stakeholders • Provide decision support through data-driven analysis and recommendations, including preparation of audit support and interaction with internal and external auditors • Champion FLIGHT DECK / LEAN and change by role‑modelling standard work and problem‑solving fundamentals and helping the team adopt lean, transparent financial processes

Our accounting services include the reconciliation, tracking, accounting for assets, along with preparation and oversight of monthly packages and regulatory schedules. Key responsibilities include: - Develop a detailed knowledge of BlackRock’s capabilities, products and services for insurance companies. Keep abreast of and optimally communicate the implications of the evolving regulatory landscape and new accounting pronouncements to ensure compliance by our insurance company, across multiple bases of accounting i.e. FRGAAP, US Statutory, US GAAP, etc. - Support business growth, implementation of new clients, and client retention within the insurance sector working in partnership with other BlackRock teams. Represent accounting on cross-functional projects and working groups in support of delivering key business and client objectives - Contribute to the continual development of the investment reporting production and control processes to optimize efficiency, mitigate risk and incorporate business and product changes, ensuring procedures are maintained in line with all current practices. Work with vendor partners to ensure that our development priorities are clearly stated and champion the completion of each - Provide expert-level support on in person and phone conversations with clients on accounting-related matters - Conduct periodic training with the Investment Accounting Team. Review all quarterly NAIC or other regulatory reconciliations with appropriate follow-up and resolution.
