• Onboarding: Get an overview of our finance processes and tools — in particular DATEV and our ERP system • Participate in the review, coding and processing of incoming invoices • Support the preparation and dispatch of outgoing invoices • Contribute to dunning procedures and payment runs • Take on initial tasks in supplier communication and account reconciliations • Take responsibility for the accounts receivable and accounts payable processes — with a clear focus on our project companies • Independently ensure the month-end closings of our project companies while maintaining quality and meeting deadlines • Contribute your expertise to the further development of our accounting and optimize processes in close coordination with Operations, Sales and Legal • Implement targeted automation solutions, e.g. through the use of OCR tools or optimized ERP workflows • Act as the finance contact for our project managers in day-to-day operations • Contribute to the development of our structures related to project companies • Assist with the preparation of annual financial statements • Work cross-functionally to make finance-adjacent processes more efficient and transparent • Share your knowledge within the team and support new colleagues during onboarding
Job Requirements
- A completed degree in business administration, economics or a comparable field, or vocational training in a commercial discipline
- At least 5 years of experience in financial accounting — preferably in a dynamic environment such as startups, scale-ups or medium-sized companies
- Solid knowledge of and routine use of DATEV and, ideally, initial experience working with ERP systems such as Microsoft Dynamics or SAP
- Ideally experience dealing with complex corporate structures and project companies, or the motivation to develop expertise in this area
- Business-fluent German and English
- A structured, conscientious and proactive working style
- Hands-on mentality and enthusiasm for close collaboration with your colleagues

Three behaviors are critical to the success of the CPC and provide a framework for activity and evaluation. They are: Cultivate Relationships, Coach Toward Multiplication, and Catalyze Movement. MINISTERIAL QUALIFICATIONS - Due to the ministerial nature and duties of this role a clear and compelling sense of God’s call to ministry leadership must be expressed and in evidence. Ephesians 4:1, 11-13; Acts 13:2; Ephesians 3:8. - The person filling this role must meet the biblical qualifications to serve in the Senior Pastor role as reflected in 1 Timothy 3:1-15 and Article 6 of the Baptist Faith & Message 2000. KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY Cultivate Relationships - Know church planting involvement of every Send Network pastor/church (plants, supporting, sending, and multiplying) in your context as well as any other churches that express interest in partnering in church planting so that you can assist them in their next step. - Work to mobilize new churches for involvement in church planting as a Supporting, Sending, or Multiplying Church. - Work with local SBC churches to create a pipeline that results in an increasing number of church planters coming from within the context and better prepared. - Exegete your context and always have the 5 priority areas/peoples where plants are needed most. Coach Toward Multiplication - Cast vision for multiplication and work with Send Network pastors to move their churches through a pathway of becoming a Multiplying Church. - Work with pastors to help them identify potential church planters and team members within their congregations. - Consult planters toward sustainability and multiplication and ensure they participate in every element of the Send Network Planter Pathway. Catalyze Movement - Catalyze a minimum of 4 new church plants annually in your context. - Implement the Send Network Multiplication Pipeline or equivalent in new churches within your assigned area. - Shepherd existing Send Network churches into their next step toward multiplication. Role Description The Accounting Specialist plays a critical role in maintaining the financial integrity and accuracy of our transportation and warehousing operations. This position is responsible for: - Managing and reconciling general ledger accounts. - Ensuring that all financial transactions are accurately recorded and compliant with company policies and regulatory standards. - Overseeing bank reconciliations and check processing to maintain cash flow accuracy and support timely financial reporting. - Managing accounts receivable processes to optimize collections and support the company’s financial health. - Contributing to the overall efficiency and reliability of the company’s accounting functions through meticulous attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
