HRIS Analyst I

BCD Travel

• Ensure accuracy, consistency, and integrity of HR data across SAP SuccessFactors and connected systems • Define and maintain global HR data standards across: Recruiting, Onboarding, Employee Central, Compensation, Learning, Performance • Establish mandatory fields, validations, and data controls by country and legal entity • Design and run regular data quality audits and exception reports • Monitor data consistency across integrated systems and downstream consumers • Own and document end-to-end HR processes in SuccessFactors • Identify process gaps, manual workarounds, and compliance risks • Partner with HR Ops, Payroll, Finance, and IT to streamline processes • Act as escalation point for data and process-related issues • Configure and maintain: Business Rules, Business Configuration UI settings, Role-Based Permissions (data protection & compliance) • Ensure SuccessFactors enforces correct data entry (no reliance on training alone) • Support global rollouts, enhancements, and new country implementations • Build and maintain data quality dashboards and health metrics • Provide insights on recurring issues and root causes • Support People Analytics and leadership reporting by ensuring trusted data • Work with HRIS, AMS partners, and core leads to improve data maturity

Job Requirements

  • Experience working with HRIS platforms, with hands-on SAP SuccessFactors
  • Strong expertise in Employee Central
  • Proven experience managing data quality in global HR systems
  • Deep understanding of HR data structures and HR lifecycle processes
  • Strong analytical, documentation, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently with global stakeholders

Job Description About the Role Location: Fully remote within the continental United States. Nearmap is a global leader in providing location intelligence technology operating globally in North America and ANZ. We are looking for a Senior Commercial Analyst who excels across the disciplines of data, strategy and execution. Reporting into the Director, GTM Finance within the Commercial Finance team, this role is pivotal in connecting data-driven insights with commercial decision-making across the Global Nearmap Go-to-Market (GTM) function. You will translate complex analysis into clear recommendations that shape strategy, enable operational efficiency and support execution at scale. Working cross-functionally with key stakeholders, you will develop an understanding of the strategic, operational and financial drivers of the business, research and analyse emerging trends and performance outcomes, identify improvement opportunities, and takes a hands-on approach to validating and implementing solutions. The focus of the role is to strengthen the analytical foundation of the NA regional GTM function, improving visibility of revenue performance drivers, enhancing performance reporting and where applicable, supporting the wider Global Commercial Finance and the Global RevOps team in refining GTM systems and processes. You will play a critical role in shaping the operational landscape, supporting month-end insights, and ensuring our GTM teams are empowered with timely, accurate and actionable data. Qualifications Revenue Reporting, forecasting and Analysis - Understanding of business drivers and key performance metrics, working independently to extract and analyse data to create models that highlight trends in sales performance, retention, customer base lead conversion rates etc to support profitable revenue growth. - Together with the data team, design and maintain dashboards and visual reporting templates to surface financial performance trends, patterns and insights to support GTM leadership decision-making. - Partner with senior management to enable data-driven decisions, identifying data requirements across market analysis, planning, monitoring, financial modelling, pricing and reporting. - Support the Director of Commercial Finance by owning the NA ARR month-end close, budgeting, forecasting and reporting upwards for consolidation. Strategic Analysis - Deliver analysis and insights on key strategic issues on an ad-hoc basis, including market intelligence, competition landscape, product and pricing optimisation and international expansion opportunities. - Partner with GTM, Product and Finance teams to support strategic planning, investment decisions and commercial growth initiatives. - Build business cases and scenario models to assess new markets, partnerships and GTM strategies. Stakeholder Engagement & Reporting - Own key stakeholder relationships with NA GTM leadership, supporting business case development and KPI reporting. - Deliver insights and recommendations that inform strategic and operational decision-making across the GTM organisation. Process Evaluation & Improvement - Working alongside the RevOps team, assessan, evaluate, and optimise business processes, anticipating requirements, identifying gaps and developing solutions that drive efficiency, accuracy and scalability in the global GTM organisation. Global Collaboration - Build and maintain strong relationships with Global Business partners, ensuring consistent understanding of data flows, inputs and outputs from multiple systems. - Act as a bridge between regional and global teams to standardise reporting and analytical processes. - Mentor and coach junior staff members within the team (could be globally based). Compliance with Nearmap values, policies and standards, and ensure compliance with all local statutory requirements. - Complies with all local legislative requirements. - Adheres to company guidelines and the corporate Code of Conduct. - Where appropriate keeps up to date with legislative requirements. - Ensures personal adherence to workplace health and safety requirements and either addresses or brings to management’s attention when others are in breach of these requirements. - Acts in an ethical way when dealing with company assets and other people. Experience - 5+ years’ experience of relevant experience in commercial finance, business analytics or commercial operations – ideally within the SaaS or technology business. Skills - Strong commercial acumen with deep analytical skills - Lateral and critical thinking, an ability to self-start and execute on non-process driven outcomes - Advanced Excel skills with the ability to build and manage complex financial models, capable of objectively analysing both qualitative and quantitative data. - Proven ability to influence decision-makers and present data-driven insights with clarity and impact. - Experience in revenue forecasting, financial analysis, and a solid understanding of key performance indicators (KPIs) and commercial drivers. - Hands-on experience with business intelligence (BI), data warehousing, statistical or reporting tools. - Working knowledge of web-based financial and ERP systems; exposure to Salesforce, Zuora, Looker, Marketing analytics platforms, or finance systems is preferred but not essential. - Familiarity with SQL, Tableau or similar analytics and visualisation platforms preferred.
