itD is seeking a Compliance Specialist V to lead strategic governance, risk, and compliance initiatives that strengthen enterprise security posture across global business operations. This role plays a critical part in driving second-line oversight of security risk management, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements, and enabling secure, scalable business growth. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in cybersecurity and GRC frameworks, along with a proven track record of delivering enterprise-wide risk programs and compliance solutions. Responsibilities - Lead and execute strategic risk initiatives within the Security GRC program - Identify, assess, and resolve complex security and compliance challenges across business units - Develop, implement, and automate security controls to mitigate top enterprise risks - Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Security, Product, Engineering, and Legal to align on risk posture and regulatory requirements - Drive company-wide impact by leading large-scale, cross-functional programs with high autonomy - Influence stakeholders and advocate for best practices in security risk management and compliance - Support the evolution of security frameworks to enhance scalability and operational efficiency Internal Responsibilities - Attend regular internal practice community meetings - Collaborate with your itD practice team on industry thought leadership - Complete client case studies and learning material (blogs, media material) - Build out material to contribute to the Digital Transformation practice - Attend internal itD networking events (in person and virtual) - Work with leadership on career fast-track opportunities Required Qualifications and Skills - 10+ years of experience in cybersecurity, governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) - Deep knowledge of cybersecurity and GRC standards/frameworks - Experience building and implementing security controls and automation - Strong program management and cross-functional leadership experience - Proven ability to influence stakeholders and drive strategic initiatives Preferred Qualifications and Skills - Experience with regulatory compliance in global environments - Background in large technology organizations or enterprise-scale environments - Prior experience with companies such as Meta, Google, Amazon, Microsoft, Adobe, Intuit, or Big 4 - Strong internal networking, stakeholder management, and advocacy skills Education Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience required Company Description About itD: We are part of a new generation of consulting and software development company that blends diversity, innovation, and integrity with real business results.
