Fuel your passion The Ultrasonic Testing Service Excellence Engineer (UT SEE) is responsible for resolving customer issues, technical training, and other projects with moderate complexity including supporting NPI and customer Field Service visits. In this role, you will use defined tools, follow processes/guidelines and escalation paths, meet day-to-day short-term objectives, and must have the ability to independently lead the resolution of issues through immediate action or short-term planning. As an Ultrasonic Testing Service Excellence Engineer (UT SEE), you will be responsible for: - Acting as the single point of contact with the customer for timely and satisfactory resolution of a wide variety of technical issues/queries for the Ultrasonic product lines, driving and leading the resolution process. - Having fundamental knowledge of Ultrasonics, the associated installations, repairs, troubleshooting, and applications. - Involving other teams as required, facilitating and motivating them to support the resolution process, and using own leadership skills to gain buy‑in and engagement. - Effectively handling technical queries from assigned customers and being knowledgeable of and sensitive to business, social, and cultural issues significant to the customers. - Building strong relationships with different internal teams and customers. - Working with the regions and leadership to prioritize cases. - Supporting Remote Service team members and other teams as required. - Developing, preparing, and conducting training for internal and external technicians. - Attending, participating in, and completing field interventions as required to support remote service cases or field service needs. - Supporting New Product and New Service Introductions by being on development teams, developing training, and attending training to continually expand knowledge and expertise. To be successful in this role you will: - Have extensive experience in Ultrasound, Testing Machines, in-house repair, field services, and software applications. - Have fluent English language skills with the ability to discuss technical matters. Additional languages are a plus. - Have a Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited university or college. - Have experience in analyzing technical issues. - Have strong oral and written communication skills. - Have strong interpersonal skills, be team oriented, and show willingness to work remotely in a global team. - Have the ability to work with changing priorities throughout the day as new customer issues and needs arise. - Have the willingness and ability to work a flexible schedule. - Have willingness and ability to travel for training and customer site visits. Desired Skills: - Have technical skills in LAN networks, TCP/IP protocols, and network technologies. - Have computer knowledge and be able to troubleshoot failures, install and set up hardware, and install and configure software and drivers. - Have experience with PLC Simatic S7 and be able to use Simatic Manager and TIA Portal to support installation, testing, and troubleshooting. - Have experience using electrical measuring equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, attenuators, and generators. - Have authorization to perform electrical work in the low-voltage range as required by local governing bodies. - Have experience with SAP and SalesForce.com. - Have structured work methods and strong analytical skills. - Have experience managing multiple tasks in parallel. • Provide oversight of Trial Master File management across clinical development programs and functions. • Partner closely with Clinical Operations, Clinical Supply Chain, Data Management, Pharmacovigilance, Regulatory Affairs, and other development functions to ensure essential clinical documentation is appropriately maintained within the TMF. • Facilitate periodic TMF health discussions and ensure alignment on TMF quality and completeness expectations. • Interface with CROs and external vendors responsible for TMF activities and contributes to maintaining TMF inspection readiness across the organization. • Support TMF lifecycle activities including study start-up planning, ongoing TMF maintenance, study closeout, and TMF archival in accordance with regulatory and company retention requirements. • Establish and maintain consistent TMF management practices across studies and programs. • Conduct routine TMF health reviews and collaborate with study teams and document content owners to identify documentation gaps and ensure appropriate remediation. • Oversee quality, completeness, and timeliness of Trial Master File (TMF/eTMF) documentation across clinical studies. • Develop and track eTMF metrics for studies and communicate trends or issues identified to study teams and management. • Serve as the eTMF system administrator, supporting user access management, system configuration support, troubleshooting, and ongoing optimization of system functionality. • Support regulatory inspections and internal audits involving TMF records and management. • Collaborate with the Head of Clinical Quality Assurance and system users to identify opportunities to improve TMF processes, system functionality, and inspection readiness practices. • Work with the eTMF system owner and IT or system support teams to implement system improvements in accordance with required change control and validation procedures.
