Title: Accounts Receivable Supervisor Location: REMOTE Job Description: General Hours of Work: Monday - Friday (Days) Exempt/Nonexempt: Non-Exempt (hourly) Department/Unit: Corporate – Finance Reports To: Executive Director- Accounting Avel eCare is seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Supervisor to provide hands-on leadership to our A/R team. The Accounts Receivable Supervisor oversees the entire A/R process and team to ensure timely, accurate production and delivery of bills to maximize cash flow. As a working supervisor, this position will be involved in the daily A/R and collection duties as needed to ensure peak performance of the customer billing team. Must have previous A/R supervisory and billing experience. RESPONSIBILITIES: - Works with A/R Team to process all customer invoices, including obtaining proper approval and coding, entering into billing system and submitting to client. - Owns billing accuracy and timeliness including reviewing contracts and disseminating information to the A/R team - Ensures revenue is correctly stated every month and that we are closing by deadlines. - Maintains Revenue verification and Billing Checklist files in timely manner for entire Finance team. - Drives collections by monitoring A/R aging and directing/participating in all collection activities. Assists with weekly cash forecasting. - Manages A/R mailbox ensuring all customer requests and concerns are handled expeditiously by A/R team. - Owns sales & tax process and filings. - Ensures customers and sales orders are set up and inactivated as we add/lose them. - Completes assigned routine reconciliation of Avel eCare balance sheet accounts, to ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory mandates. - Drives A/R Strategy and process improvements. - Monitors Team Dynamix to ensure we stay on track with A/R tasks and timelines. - Supports ad hoc reporting & special requests as directed by the Controller. - Performs assigned duties as needed to ensure compliance with internal control policies to protect the assets of Avel eCare. REQUIRED EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: - Minimum of Associate’s degree in accounting or related preferred. - 2+ years of Accounts Receivable billing and collections experience is required. - Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Microsoft Excel and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment. - Prior experience with NetSuite preferred. - Demonstrated experience reviewing and interpreting contracts.
