In this role, you will be processing accounts receivable related activity while following established policies and procedures. It is a hybrid role which will involve mainly working from home. There will be the occasional occurrence that in office presence is requested for collaboration and teambuilding. What You’ll Do - Applying customer payments to appropriate trade receivables in accounting system - Reconciling customer payment activity to bank deposits - Communicating and following up with customers - Collaborating and working with the accounts receivable team including the team manager - Reviewing accounts receivable aging - Assist in special projects as needed - This is a remote role but only local to the Chicago market We’re Excited to Learn More About You  Your experience may include: - Minimum 1-3 years of practical accounting/bookkeeping experience - Working knowledge of MS Excel and other Microsoft products - Understanding of core concepts related to collections including accounts receivable, cash application, customer communication, and management - Working knowledge of basic accounting terminology and procedures - An associate or bachelor’s degree in accounting is preferred; however, we highly value equivalent professional experience and encourage candidates with a strong accounting background to apply.
