Seasonal Tax Reviewer
Withum
• Reviewing and preparing individual, entity and trust and estate tax returns in accordance with Withum’s policies and ensure information is accurately represented • Adhering to the firm’s written tax practice standards and procedures • Ensuring client confidentiality by following all company procedures regarding information handling • Managing multiple engagements concurrently to efficiently meet client deadlines • Answering client questions and provide advice • Identifying and researching tax issues
Job Requirements
- Tax review experience (3+ years); CPA’s or Enrolled Agents preferred.
- Up to date on federal, state, and local personal income tax laws
- Proficiency with GoSystem and SurePrep preferred
- Experience with Box, CCH Workflow (XCM), Adobe and Tax Caddy a plus
- Experience in Microsoft Office Suites a plus
- Exceptional client service and communication skills with a demonstrated ability to develop and maintain outstanding client relationships
- Ability to manage multiple engagements and competing projects in a rapidly growing, fast-paced, technologically advanced, interactive, results-based team environment
- Practice effective time management; able to re-prioritize tasks and support teams based on frequently changing needs
- Excellent verbal and written skills
- Availability to work February 2026 through mid-April 2026.

• Manage income tax filings including working with 3rd party tax firms, filing extensions, estimating payments, forecasting payments, and ensuring accuracy with federal and multi-state requirements. • Manage property tax schedule for development and operating project entities. • Prepare and/or review property tax and sales and use tax filings while ensuring payments for each on their required timelines. • Oversee quarterly and annual tax provision calculations in accordance with applicable accounting standards. • Partner with internal and external accounting/finance partners to ensure timely and accurate filings of federal, multi-state, and local tax returns for LLCs, S corporations and C corporations. • Review and prepare responses and supporting documentation for federal and state tax agency notices and audits. • Prepare reports and presentations related to federal and state tax filings and trends. • Assist the accounting members in preparation of federal, state and local tax compliance and/or quarterly HLBV calculations. • Provide strategic advice regarding taxation and accounting principles in support of company's accounting activities. • Manage audits and inquiries from taxing authorities. • Identify tax-efficient strategies and planning opportunities across the entity structure. • Responsible for aspects of hiring, training, and developing employees, as well as managing the department’s budget. • Collaborate with individual department, as well as cross-functionally with other departments within the organization. • Maintain organizational excellence in terms of project timelines and deliverables. • Demonstrates the Clēnera Core Values of Caring, Committed, and Courageous. • Other duties as assigned.
