JOB DESCRIPTION: Position Summary The Purchasing Coordinator is responsible for supporting procurement operations by sourcing and ordering parts from dealerships, processing payments, and ensuring timely communication between suppliers and internal teams. This role plays a key part in maintaining efficient purchasing workflows, accurate expense coding, and consistent support for store locations. Key Responsibilities - Contact dealerships and suppliers to source and order required parts in a timely manner - Process payments for purchases, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company procedures - Track and communicate order status updates to store locations and internal stakeholders - Maintain accurate records of purchases, invoices, and order details - Ensure proper coding and allocation of expenses in accordance with company guidelines - Assist store teams with placing orders and resolving purchasing-related issues - Follow up with vendors on backorders, delays, and discrepancies - Build and maintain positive relationships with dealership partners and suppliers - Support continuous improvement of purchasing processes and cost efficiencies Qualifications - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Excellent organizational and time management abilities - Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook) and purchasing/ERP systems - Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment - Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills Preferred Skills - Experience working with automotive parts or dealership networks - Familiarity with inventory management or supply chain processes - Basic understanding of accounting principles and expense coding Work Environment - Remote role with MST or PST time zones preferred. - Frequent communication via phone and email with vendors and internal teams #LI-DM1 #DM-Remote #DBCORP Position Location: New Mexico Compensation Range: $17.60 - $31.40 Compensation Frequency: Annual Base pay offered may vary depending on actual location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. What You Will Do: - Perform subcontract management of purchase orders utilizing integrated supply chain models. Primary capabilities in subcontract management such as the following will be needed: - Preparation of all manner of solicitations including RFQ, RFP, and RFI - Analyze quotations/proposals utilizing price/cost analysis techniques - Develop negotiation strategies and lead formal negotiations (Price, Delivery, Terms) - Place Purchase Orders of high dollar levels and procurement complexity - Perform risk analysis, and develop mitigation plans and solutions to problems - Travel to RTX and supplier facilities as deemed necessary - typical travel may be quarterly or more - Manages escalations and resolution of internal customer and/or supplier issues - Manage financial goals in relation to our subcontract deliveries - Drive the success of meeting business factory MRP - Drive the success for metrics, Late to Place, Late to Dock, Delinquent Material, etc. - Develop plans to promote cost reduction initiatives and performance improvements (technical as well as quality) Qualifications You Must Have: - Typically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years relevant experience in supply chain management or similar role - Experience with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR/DFARS) or within other heavily regulated industries such as pharmaceutical, medical, space, aviation, power generation or automotive - Experience in written contractual authorization/vehicles (Firm Fixed Price, Cost Plus, etc.) - Experience with supplier management. - The ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance.
