Responsibilities Insurance Verification & Benefits Processing (Primary Focus) - Perform high-volume insurance benefit verifications with speed and accuracy - Review and document coverage details including eligibility, limits, and requirements - Utilize insurance portals and payer websites to gather accurate information - Maintain clear and consistent documentation of benefits for internal team use - Liaise with insurance providers to clarify coverage details when needed - Assist with patient inquiries related to insurance coverage Medical Records Management - Process and manage medical records requests - Ensure timely retrieval and delivery of patient documentation - Maintain organized and compliant patient records - Support internal teams with documentation needs Administrative & Patient Support - Respond to patient inquiries via phone and email - Maintain accurate patient records within the EMR - Assist with general administrative workflows as needed - Support a high-functioning administrative team with daily operational tasks Scheduling & Coordination Support - Assist with appointment confirmations and patient communication - Support scheduling coordination when needed - Maintain waitlists and help ensure efficient patient flow Tools & Systems The practice currently uses: - Google Workspace (including Google Chat) - Raintree (EMR) - Weave (phone and communication system) - Square - Waystar - Availity and other insurance portals Candidates must be comfortable navigating multiple systems efficiently.
