This role focuses on OS configuration management, golden image engineering, and Infrastructure as Code, working closely with security, platform, and DevOps teams to deliver reliable, compliant cloud environments at enterprise scale. Your Role: - Develop and maintain Chef cookbooks, recipes, and policies to enforce Linux OS baseline configurations and compliance. - Automate onboarding of Linux systems into Chef, including bootstrapping, configuration, and compliance validation. - Own the monthly golden image lifecycle (patching, hardening, validation, versioning, and deprecation). - Build and manage AWS AMIs and Azure Managed Images / Shared Image Gallery (SIG) across accounts and regions. - Ensure images include required monitoring, security, EDR, and vulnerability scanning agents. - Design and maintain reusable Terraform modules for AWS infrastructure with secure defaults and standards. - Integrate image engineering and IaC workflows into CI/CD pipelines, with testing, validation, and quality controls.
