Overview DecisionPoint seeks a Dev Lead / Scrum – Data & Integration to lead the development and sustainment of secure data exchange, integration, and analytics solutions for a modernized Department of Defense (DoD) enterprise system. The Dev Lead will oversee the design and implementation of RESTful APIs, data migration and validation activities, and the delivery of optimized database and analytics services that support mission-critical applications. The role requires deep technical expertise in API architecture, data modeling, and integration within AWS GovCloud IL4/IL5 environments, combined with leadership of an Agile team delivering iterative value aligned with cybersecurity and performance standards. Duties & Responsibilities The Dev Lead / Scrum – Data & Integration will: - Lead Agile development efforts focused on data integration, API design, and secure data exchange across multiple system interfaces. - Build, deploy, and maintain RESTful APIs that support modular integration between mission systems, ensuring compliance with DoD security and interoperability standards. - Oversee data migration and transformation from legacy systems, applying validation checks, reconciliation reports, and error logging to maintain data accuracy. - Manage database optimization and query tuning, ensuring performance and scalability across cloud-hosted environments. - Implement and maintain data pipelines and synchronization processes supporting near-real-time exchange between systems of record. - Design and deliver analytics dashboards and visualizations using tools such as Power BI or Tableau to support operational and executive reporting. - Coordinate cross-functional integration testing to validate data integrity, workflow continuity, and system interoperability. - Ensure adherence to DoD data governance, encryption, and access control requirements. - Collaborate with cybersecurity engineers to validate compliance with RMF and STIG controls. - Participate in Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives), ensuring accurate backlog prioritization and delivery of technical milestones. - Mentor developers and analysts in data modeling, schema design, and API integration best practices. - Maintain documentation of architecture diagrams, data flow mappings, and interface control documents (ICDs). - Support Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) automation for data and API components. Qualifications Clearance Requirement: - Must hold an active Top Secret clearance. Education: - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field. Experience: - Minimum 7 years of experience in software development and data integration, with at least 3 years in a technical leadership role. - Demonstrated experience building APIs, data pipelines, and analytics dashboards within secure cloud environments. - Experience supporting federal or defense systems and understanding IL4/IL5 cloud data compliance. Technical Knowledge: - Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C#. - Experience with RESTful API design, Swagger/OpenAPI documentation, and API gateway management. - Hands-on experience with AWS services (Lambda, RDS, S3, Glue, API Gateway, CloudWatch). - Proficiency in SQL and NoSQL databases, including schema design and optimization. - Knowledge of data validation, ETL workflows, and data transformation best practices. - Familiarity with Power BI, Tableau, or AWS QuickSight for analytics dashboarding. - Understanding of DevSecOps practices, including CI/CD automation, version control, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes). - Awareness of DoD cybersecurity frameworks, DISA STIGs, and RMF compliance. Certifications (Preferred): - AWS Certified Solutions Architect or Data Analytics – Specialty. - CompTIA Security+ CE or equivalent DoD 8570 certification. - Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or PMI-ACP. Role Description Responsible for seamless order intake, validation, and processing to enable successful provisioning and billing orders to complete customer orders as a unit of work. This role requires a high level of attention to detail, the ability to work under tight deadlines, and seek assistance when required to ensure a high level of quality of orders being entered. - Process new and transition orders for Federal agencies, ensuring accuracy and compliance with all federal regulations. - Utilize intake methods such as email, Ebond (Conexus, ETEMs), and Business Center to manage order requests. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless order processing from intake to billing, including review of order provisioning and billing setup in the system. - Maintain up-to-date knowledge of EIS products, process flows, and service level agreements (SLAs). - Support operational dashboards for order visibility and forecasting to improve predictability and control. - Ensure all network hardware, core network configurations, and software requirements are accurately captured and assigned. - Support Services shall be executed in compliance with processing and program guidelines published by Customer.
