Description TEKsystems currently has a long-term contract position open as a Remote Front-end/AEM Developer. This is a Mid-Level position focused on front end around 5-6 years of experience. * Translate business goals into technical requirements, conduct code/design reviews, and drive the technical implementation of web projects throughout the project lifecycle. * Work with adjacent development teams to implement integrated technical solutions. * Develop front-end code in a timely and high-quality manner while leveraging site standards including site structure, page templates, navigation and the site information architecture. * Build AEM authoring components and templates * Design, develop, and maintain scalable and stable web solutions that meet business needs. * Utilize AEM to layout pages, troubleshoot issues, and train authors of the system. * Assign tasks and coordinate with offshore resources. * Partner with Visual Design and User Experience teams to develop effective/engaging designs. * Utilize reusable templates and common HTML elements while leveraging centralized JQuery/JavaScript libraries and global CSS. * Use a shared standards library to be used by all web teams. * Help with day-to-day operational tasks and assist in ensuring the quality of our website. * Own and drive specific area(s) of website functionality such as search, videos, web site performance - including but not limited to: * Triage issues in those areas * Prioritize enhancement stories * Develop features for those areas of responsibility Top Skills Details Javascript AEM React HTML/CSS Additional Skills & Qualifications • AEM 6.5.20 • JavaScript • HTML3 / CSS • Needs to be able to problem solve all potential front end challenges. • Being handed a design and needs to convert to the working website • Needs to be able to test site and hand off code to team • This role needs to be very independent. About the Role We're looking for a Senior Shopify Developer who writes clean, maintainable code and can own projects end-to-end. You'll be building and customizing Shopify storefronts, translating Figma designs into pixel-perfect responsive code, handling deep subscription app integrations, and working across both the frontend and backend of Shopify.
