And we need the best minds to do it 🧠🚀 🧑‍💻 What you’ll be working on - Strategic problem-solving: Diagnose complex operational and regulatory challenges, frame solutions from first principles, and drive them to completion - Outsourcing & risk foundations: Build and own frameworks to manage inter-group outsourcing services: Performance management, risk assessment, and strategic ownership of service execution. - Cross-functional execution: Coordinate delivery across compliance, legal, product, and operations to deliver first-in-class products. - Workflow and systems design Design and implement scalable operational controls spanning vendor due diligence pipelines, risk monitoring, and service performance using RAG pipelines, reasoning systems, and agentic automation.

About the Role: We are seeking a dynamic and ambitious Deputy Editor with a PhD in Biomedical Engineering, Molecular Biology, or a related field. The role will focus on the open-access journal Advanced NanoBiomed Research within the Material Science & Physics - Health/Bio cluster, working closely with Advanced Healthcare Materials. This role entails using scientific research background, knowledge of the publishing landscape, and strong communication and networking skills to drive the strategic development of one or more journals, raising the profile and visibility of the journal(s) in the community, and attracting new authors and content. The Deputy Editor is expected to actively participate in conferences, institute visits, and broader outreach activities. They will also manage the peer review process and make decisions on submitted manuscripts. Importantly, the Deputy Editor ensures the adoption of best practices and the highest ethical standards in publishing.
