• Lead team of Logistics Project Managers to plan and execute outbound global logistics function for HDNU and Aero projects • Collaborate with Logistics Project Leader, LC Leader, and Logistics Project Managers to ensure optimization and execution of daily transportation, shipment planning and adhere of contract requirements • Manage & Reporting of full project lifecycle EAC (Estimated cost at completion) • Maintain project logistics risks and opportunities enable proactive upstream and downstream influence in leakage mitigation and savings opportunities • Take ownership, ensure execution, and continually communicate updates to involved parties proactively • Coach/Mentor assigned LPM’s in standard work activities, provide team training, operational and administrative issues/escalations • Conduct 1:1 sessions with LPM’s • Drive continuous improvement for their team and participate in initiatives as directed by Logistics Project Leader • Report to Regional Project Leader and provide critical updates and escalations as needed • Remain accountable for all defined KPI’s and their trends • Plan and Execute outbound global logistics function • Monitor PO’s • Plan and coordinate with Buyers, vendors, freight forwarders and carriers to ensure timely, accurate and cost-effective delivery of goods • Monitor and rectify import shipment exceptions • Act as the customer point of contact for Project Logistics supporting the GE Project Manager • Oversee and maintain project plans and freight estimates to support customer project communication • Develop logistics strategy to optimize cycle cost within baseline EAC • Identify and implement best cost solutions regarding transport mode, route, carrier selection, container utilization and consolidations for ocean, air and over the road freight, material flow improvement • Maintain shipment schedules • Develop, maintain and distribute shipment status reports to key stakeholders • Monitor and maintain in-transit inventory report to ensure accuracy • Follow EHS rules and ensure team compliance • Immediately report incidents and near misses to direct reports and EHS Leader • Immediately shut down any operation when realized life or serious injury risk is present

• Plan and Execute outbound global logistics functions to GE’s end customer • Monitor PO’s • Plan and coordinate with Buyers, vendors, freight forwarders and carriers to ensure timely, accurate and cost-effective delivery of goods • Monitor and rectify import shipment exceptions • Act as the customer point of contact for project Logistics supporting the GE Project Manager • Oversee and maintain project plans and freight estimates to support customer project communication • Conduct RFQ’s for internal stakeholders to provide cost/cycle scenarios • Develop logistics strategy to optimize cycle cost within baseline budget (EAC – Estimate At Completion) • Manage & Reporting of full project lifecycle Budget/EAC • Support timely and competitive total landed cost logistics quotes required throughout ITO/OTR cycle in conjunction with mode specialist • Support logistics cost ITO strategies that include forecasting, market and infrastructure data and ensure proposed costs are accurate and competitive • Maintain project logistics risks and opportunities enable proactive upstream and downstream influence (Factory/Sourcing/Projects/Repairs/Parts) in leakage mitigation and savings opportunities • Identify and implement best cost solutions regarding transport mode, route, carrier selection, container utilization and consolidations, for ocean, air and over the road freight, material flow improvement • Maintain shipment schedules • Develop, maintain and distribute shipment status reports to key stakeholders • Monitor and maintain in-transit inventory report to ensure accuracy • Oversee inbound container receipts for drop shipments and direct imports to customer • Ensure timely delivery of direct to customer imports, in compliance with routing guidelines, as required • Monitor and track demurrage, detention, to reduce cost and ensure accuracy of charges with carriers • Systemically record shipment details, enter and release receivers, ensuring accuracy and reliability of data for key stakeholders using applicable tools • Oversee process to ensure accuracy of commercial invoices and packing slips, report discrepancies and reconcile purchase order variances • Review and maintain document flow processes, including commercial invoice, packing slip, B/L, COO or other documents for accuracy and in compliance with CBP and other regulatory and internal standards • Track and ensure timely document availability • Coordinate with freight forwarders, Customs brokers and carriers to resolve problems/issues • Assist in execution of regional transport programs • Assist with internal/external audits, record keeping and reporting, as needed • Assist in managing shipment and custom activities for import services • Assist in the negotiation of domestic freight contracts • Inform cost changes, shipment issues, supply concerns to respective personnel and team in timely manner • Maintain good relationship with carriers and service providers to improve overall business performance • Collect transport drawings and supply to carriers • Remain accountable for all defined KPIs and their trends • Understand the drivers, facilitate the related reviews and have the necessary actions, timelines • Responsible for the quality related escalations, coordinating the CoPQs, RCAs with the proper logistics function and recommending solutions to drive sustained improvement

BGIS is currently seeking a Commissioning Agent to join the team as a member in UK. We are looking for individuals to commission mission critical center equipment systems, such as power generation and distribution systems, uninterruptible power supplies, static transfer switches, PDU's, BAS & BMS systems and HVAC equipment. The candidate must have a working knowledge of electrical/electronic and mechanical systems or equivalent industry experience with proven customer service skills. Experience associated with industrial level generators, Uninterruptable Power Supplies, HVAC and Power conditioning equipment is a benefit. The candidate should be technically competent on test equipment such as: AC/DC amp probe, digital voltmeter, phase rotation meters, battery conductance tester, battery load tester and micro-ohm meter. This position will require a minimum of 75% travel. The position will require national and/or international travel. Position is performed remotely; however, may require travel/driving to client locations for training, meetings and other in-person events. RESPONSIBILITIES - Perform design reviews of systems. - Develop, oversee and write startup and commissioning policies and procedures. - QA/QC of the equipment installation. - Perform construction observations and develop functional test plans. - Execute tests for a wide variety of electrical and mechanical systems and to ensure testing is performed in conformance with standards and procedures. - Assist in training of plant operations and maintenance personnel. - Act as liaison with vendors and subcontractors regarding problem resolution and perform testing as required. - Review and analyze data and prepare technical reports. - Maintain effective communication with clients, contractors and other project team members. - Work with others to manage small to mid-size projects to meet client expectations for technical excellence, budget and schedule. *Other duties as assigned. REQUIRED EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE and ABILITIES - 7 years of industry experience in either electrical power distribution or mechanical systems or both. AA degree, military training or equivalent work experience. - Experience in diagnosing and solving construction and operational problems. - Be organized; possess excellent written and oral communication skills. - Experience with MS word and excel is a must. - Must have the ability to work in a high stress environment, ability to multi-task and meet deadlines. - Good interpersonal skills and ability to work with and guide others. - Knowledge of building codes and construction industry standards. - Working knowledge of AutoCAD. - Must have or be able to obtain a passport - Must have demonstrated proficiency for all the responsibilities of a Commissioning Engineer. - Five (5) years of experience in the commissioning field including performance contracting requirements. - Must be proficient in BCA, PECI and/or ASHRAE commissioning procedures. - Hospital, biotech, data center, and energy analysis experience is preferred. - Ability and willingness to travel, 75% of the time. - Provide personal transportation for meetings and job visits away from the office; reimbursed.
