Job Description: Job Family Definition: The Cloud Developer builds from the ground up to meet the needs of mission-critical applications, and is always looking for innovative approaches to deliver end-to-end technical solutions to solve customer problems. Brings technical thinking to break down complex data and to engineer new ideas and methods for solving, prototyping, designing, and implementing cloud-based solutions. Collaborates with project managers and development partners to ensure effective and efficient delivery, deployment, operation, monitoring, and support of Cloud engagements. The Cloud Developer provides business value expertise to drive the development of innovative service offerings that enrich HPE's Cloud Services portfolio across multiple systems, platforms, and applications. Management Level Definition: Contributes to assignments of limited scope by applying technical concepts and theoretical knowledge acquired through specialized training, education, or previous experience. Acts as team member by providing information, analysis and recommendations in support of team efforts. Exercises independent judgment within defined parameters. Responsibilities: - Develops and maintains cloud application modules per feature specifications, adhering to security policies. - Designs test plans and executes and automates test cases for assigned portions of the application. - Deploys code and debugs issues. - Shares and reviews innovative technical ideas with peers, high-level technical contributors, technical writers, and managers. - Analyses science, engineering, business, and other data processing problems to develop and implement solutions to complex application problems, system administration issues, or network concerns. Education and Experience Required: - Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, or closely related quantitative discipline. Master’s desirable. - Typically, 0-2 years’ experience. Knowledge and Skills: - Programming skills in Python, Java, Golang, or JavaScript. - Understanding of basic testing, coding, and debugging procedures. - Ability to quickly learn new skills and technologies and work well with other team members. - Good written and verbal communication skills. - Understanding DevOps practices like continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD). • Design and ship new features end-to-end from idea to production in .NET MAUI (cross-platform iOS & Android) • Make architectural and technical decisions independently. You'll have the context and the mandate to do so • Take full responsibility for what your code does in production • Collaborate with product and design from scoping through release • Use AI tools (Copilot, Claude, whatever works) as a genuine productivity multiplier, not as a talking point • Help the people around you get better

• Lead the design and development of new platform capabilities across Redwoods technology ecosystem • Partner with the AI Product and Data Science teams to integrate predictive, generative, and agentic models directly into product workflows • Architect scalable, high-performance systems leveraging microservices, APIs, and event-driven patterns to support AI-enabled decisioning and automation • Own full-stack development across .NET Core, C#, and modern JavaScript frameworks (React preferred), ensuring maintainable, production-grade solutions • Guide technical design reviews, ensuring solutions align with Redwoods long-term architectural direction and platform modernization roadmap • Collaborate with cloud and infrastructure teams to optimize performance, reliability, and scalability within Azure and containerized environments • Implement automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, and observability frameworks to support rapid, high-quality releases • Mentor engineers in advanced coding practices, architectural thinking, and AI integration techniques • Contribute to the definition of Redwoods AI platform architecture, shaping reusable service patterns, data orchestration flows, and model-serving frameworks • Stay current with emerging AI frameworks, developer tooling, and best practices, driving innovation and continuous improvement

• Design, develop, and maintain full-stack web applications using React and Vue on the frontend, and Java/Spring Cloud microservices on the backend • Build and consume RESTful APIs, integrating with internal services, third-party platforms, and AI model APIs • Take end-to-end ownership of features — from requirements gathering and technical design through implementation, testing, deployment, and post-launch maintenance • Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and cross-functional stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions • Deliver high-quality, polished UI with strong attention to user experience, accessibility, and visual consistency • Leverage AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code) to accelerate development cycles and improve code quality • Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code; participate in code reviews and uphold engineering best practices • Work with SQL and NoSQL databases — design schemas, write queries, and optimize for performance • Proactively identify and surface blockers, communicate progress and risks to stakeholders, and keep cross-timezone teams aligned (APAC/MENA) • Contribute to technical documentation, architecture discussions, and continuous improvement of development processes • Stay current with emerging technologies in web development, AI, crypto, and blockchain to bring relevant innovations to the team
