Sales Director Location: Remote (USA) Job Overview We’re looking for a Head of Sales to lead and expand our global software sales organization. This role can be based in the US or Europe (remote), and will combine hands-on selling with leadership responsibilities. You will lead and drive all revenue-generating activities across the company. You will be responsible for the end-to-end customer journey, from strategic planning and growth targets to tactical execution and team development. You’ll play a critical role in shaping the go-to-market (GTM) strategy, refining sales processes, and ensuring customer success. You will have a proven ability to negotiate and close significant enterprise multiyear transactions. In addition, you will be responsible for building and managing a worldwide sales and marketing team to achieve the company’s growth objectives. Your ability to balance vision with execution will help us achieve ambitious revenue goals while fostering a culture of transparency, innovation, and customer-centricity. Key Responsibilities - Revenue Strategy & Execution Ownership: Lead and own the company's revenue strategy across Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and Partnerships, ensuring alignment with the company’s broader vision. Be the go-to closer. - Growth Targets & GTM Strategy: Define and deliver aggressive growth targets in alignment with company strategy and investor expectations. - Recruit and Manage Talent: Identify key roles in the organization, recruit appropriate individuals and build a culture of accountability and success. - Customer-Centric Focus: Translate customer needs into actionable sales and product strategies that drive long-term retention and expansion. - Client Engagement: Lead executive-level client engagements, presentations, and negotiations to secure high-value contracts. - Product Feedback Loops: Build deep collaboration with Product and Engineering teams to ensure the company’s offerings remain market-relevant. - Scalable Processes & Metrics: Establish scalable and repeatable processes, systems, and metrics to drive predictable, sustainable revenue growth. - Pipeline Management & Forecasting: Ensure rigorous pipeline management, accurate forecasting, and clear KPI reporting for consistent performance tracking. - Data-Driven Culture: Champion data-driven decision-making while empowering teams to innovate and adapt. - Strategic Partnerships: Identify, cultivate, and manage strategic partnerships that enhance revenue streams, expand market reach, and create long-term business value. What You Bring - 8+ years of experience in revenue leadership roles (Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, or GTM Strategy) within SaaS, data, or technology industries. - Strong strategic thinking and the ability to execute effectively on tactical initiatives. - Financial and analytical expertise in forecasting, pipeline management, and operational KPIs. - Experience in Travel & Hospitality, Retail, or data services is preferred. - Proven ability to thrive in fast-paced, evolving environments while managing global teams. - Strong negotiation skills and ability to close complex deals. - Excellent communication and relationship-building skills. - Bachelor’s degree required, with an MBA or advanced degree preferred.
