Distribution Operations Director

• Own the end-to-end pipeline, from catalog ingestion and metadata compliance to DSP connectivity and incident resolution. • Lead the Distribution Operations team, serving as company's subject matter expert on DDEX standards. • Partner with Product and Engineering to drive platform improvements. • Act as primary escalation point for distribution issues, coordinating cross-functional resolution between internal teams and DSP partners. • Oversee the 'Concierge' service to ensure high-priority releases are monitored and protected. • Manage Revelator's technical partnerships with DSPs, ensuring stable integrations and smooth onboarding of new connections. • Develop and maintain reporting infrastructure to provide leadership with actionable data and drive continuous operational improvement.

Job Requirements

  • 5–7 years of experience in technical music distribution or supply chain leadership.
  • Advanced DDEX ERN expertise, including the ability to troubleshoot and discuss specs with engineering teams.
  • Hands-on proficiency with XML and a deep understanding of ISRC, ISWC, and metadata standards.
  • Proven success in managing DSP technical relationships and delivery pipelines.
  • Experienced people leader capable of running operational cadences and developing team members.
  • Ability to build operational workflows and reporting infrastructure from the ground up.
  • Excellent cross-functional communicator comfortable working with Product and BD stakeholders.
  • Preferred Experience at leading music tech companies or distributors (e.g., DistroKid, FUGA, or equivalent).
  • Expertise in managing large-scale catalog migrations across distribution systems.
  • Technical familiarity with APIs, SFTP, and distribution delivery infrastructure.
  • Proficiency in SQL and data reporting tools like Looker or Tableau.
  • Experience collaborating with Engineering teams in Agile or sprint-based environments.
  • Participation in industry groups like DDEX to drive standards and best practices.
  • Strong command of Monday.com and modern operational dashboarding tools.
