IT Systems Engineer
Abstra
• Architect, design, and propose solutions related to responsible systems such as Okta, Google Workspace, O365, Slack, etc. • Maintain endpoint management and MDM infrastructure across company devices. • Maximize system performance through monitoring, troubleshooting, and upgrades. • Build automation and scripting solutions to improve operational efficiency. • Improve account lifecycle automations for a large number of SaaS applications. • Implement and enforce security best practices across systems and endpoints. • Document systems, processes, and infrastructure to support internal teams. • Deploy and manage virtualization infrastructure including Proxmox setup, clustering, and VM lifecycle management. • Configure Cloudflare Tunnel connectivity for secure access to internal services. • Create Okta integrations with infrastructure platforms, including Proxmox.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred.
- 4+ years of experience in systems engineering or systems administration.
- Strong experience managing macOS environments and Google Workspace.
- Experience with identity management platforms such as Okta.
- Experience managing virtualization platforms (Proxmox, VMware, or similar).
- Experience scripting or automating tasks using Bash, Python, or similar tools.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Cloudflare, Tailscale, or modern networking tools.
- Experience with AWS or GCP.
- Familiarity with Terraform, Ansible, or infrastructure automation tools.
- Experience supporting security or compliance initiatives.

The NPI Buyer will collaborate closely with engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain teams to align procurement strategies with program goals, ensuring compliance with GE Aerospace’s SQDC (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost) priorities.
