Role Description The Advanced Practice Nurse III (APN) in VISN 15 Clinical Resource Hub (CRH) Primary care service located at the Jefferson Barracks Medical Center reports directly to the Section Chief (CRH) Primary Care Service aligned under the Chief of Staff. The APN practices to provide a full range of services emphasizing quality, timeliness, and the advancement of the Veterans Affairs (VA) mission. The NP provides advanced clinical practice, consultation, and management. This announcement will remain open until the closing date, April 20, 2026, or when the applicant count is reached, whichever is earlier. The applicant count is the point at which the first 25 applications are received. The Nurse Practitioner practices to the full extent of their education, training, and certification. Core functions are outlined in the clinical privileges that correspond with this position. Requirements - Demonstrates leadership in delivering and improving holistic care through collaborative strategies with others. - Meets basic education requirement for APN (NP). - APNs (NPs) at level II are expected to meet specific dimension requirements including clinical practice, outcome focus, leadership, professional development, and professionalism/collegiality. - APNs (NPs) at grade III are expected to demonstrate leadership, experience, and creative approaches to management of complex client care.
