Product Counsel/Lawyer – AI, Process Design, Adjudication
The Apex Project
• Design and refine the procedural frameworks that govern adversarial adjudication on the platform • Work directly with engineering and product to embed legal and procedural logic into platform architecture • Develop rules of procedure, evidentiary standards, and fairness safeguards for AI-assisted dispute resolution • Identify and mitigate legal, regulatory, and reputational risks across jurisdictions as the platform scales • Build internal compliance processes and documentation systems with an automation-first mindset • Monitor developments in AI regulation, platform liability, and digital dispute resolution and translate them into product decisions
Job Requirements
- Law degree (any jurisdiction) — qualified or on track to qualify
- Genuine interest in AI, technology, and how legal process can be improved, automated, and scaled
- Ability to translate legal concepts into product requirements and vice versa
- Structured, precise written thinking
- Comfort working inside a product team

• Provide strategic legal advice on operational and regulatory issues affecting Humana’s Home Solutions business, including CenterWell Home Health. • Advise operations teams on matters related to patient safety, quality of care, and governmental inquiries. • Collaborate with internal teams, including Legal, Compliance, and Risk Management, to address complex issues and ensure alignment across departments. • Conduct risk assessments, analyze potential impacts, and develop mitigation strategies to support business decisions and initiatives.
