• Lead and integrate controllership areas such as Pricing, FP&A, ALM and Investment Back Office, ensuring strategic, operational and technical alignment across teams; • Ensure the quality, consistency and integrity of financial and management information to support the institution’s strategic and operational decisions; • Support capital and financial risk management, promoting a balance between profitability, liquidity, solvency and long-term sustainability; • Oversee the financial planning, budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring adherence to strategic targets and visibility into variances; • Ensure proper pricing of financial instruments in accordance with market practices, accounting standards and regulatory requirements; • Monitor the execution and settlement of investment operations, ensuring operational efficiency, risk mitigation and compliance; • Interact with business areas, risk, accounting, treasury and the executive board, acting as a link between financial performance and institutional strategy; • Develop people and processes, promoting a high-performance culture, continuous improvement, innovation and governance; • Serve as a technical and strategic reference in financial management, anticipating risks and opportunities that impact the organization’s results; • Prepare and present analyses, reports and financial performance dashboards to enable data-driven decision making.
Job Requirements
- Degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting or related fields;
- Experience in controllership and finance areas within banks and financial institutions, with primary focus on FP&A, ALM and Pricing;
- Experience leading teams;
- Solid knowledge of liquidity indicators, financial modeling and asset and liability management;
- Ability to perform complex financial modeling;
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with other financial institutions;
- Strategic mindset and long-term vision to achieve capital raising and portfolio profitability goals.
- Preferences:**
- Postgraduate degree or MBA in Finance or related fields;
- Relevant financial certifications (e.g., CEA);
- Knowledge of accounting.

Financial Reporting and Tax Director, LATAM

• Support the preparation and review of statutory financials across Latin American and other international jurisdictions. • Ensure timely and accurate preparation of consolidated financial statements under applicable local accounting standards (GAAP, IFRS). • Provide guidance on complex accounting matters, including revenue recognition, equity compensation, and consolidations. • Support external audit coordination, ensuring readiness and smooth execution. • Oversee coordination of tax filings in partnership with external advisors. • Ensure compliance with evolving transfer pricing and inter-company transaction requirements. • Identify opportunities to optimize the company’s global tax position as the organization scales. • Lead financial due diligence and planning for entry into new countries, assessing regulatory, tax, and accounting implications. • Partner with Legal, HR, and Operations to determine optimal entity structures and ensure compliant setup. • Oversee the integration of new entities into existing accounting and reporting frameworks. • Research global compliance and tax considerations, advising management on the financial impact of expansion initiatives. • Assist with all aspects of equity plan administration, including stock option and RSU tracking (utilizing Shareworks by Morgan Stanley), reporting, and compliance. • Maintain and prepare monthly cap tables. • Calculate and prepare equity accounting entries (stock-based compensation, share repurchases, etc.) and financial statement disclosures. • Manage relationships with external 409A valuation providers, ensuring timely and accurate valuations. • Work with HR and Legal to ensure consistent and compliant global equity processes. • Establish and implement a scalable internal control framework appropriate for a private company. • Develop and maintain documentation standards, including accounting policies, procedures, and control narratives. • Drive cross-functional alignment to ensure financial integrity and compliance across business processes. • Identify and remediate control gaps proactively.
