Mobile Developer, Flutter – Senior
TRACK&FIELD
• Develop, enhance and maintain the TFSports and TFSports Trainer apps (iOS and Android) using Flutter/Dart, ensuring high performance, stability and an excellent user experience; • Work in a continuous delivery model with short cycles (tasks of 1–2 days), making frequent commits and small, focused, high-quality PRs; • Use generative AI (Claude and similar) as a technical copilot in daily work, supporting development, debugging, documentation and refactoring; • Perform critical review of all code (AI- or human-generated), ensuring high standards of quality, readability, efficiency, edge-case handling and security; • Actively participate in code reviews, architecture decisions and agile ceremonies, contributing to the team’s and product’s technical evolution; • Ensure the quality and sustainability of the codebase by applying sound architecture practices (SOLID, Clean Architecture, DI) and organized code structure; • Work on integration with REST APIs, ensuring robustness in consumption (error handling, retries, timeouts and defensive programming); • Lead and evolve the mobile testing strategy (unit, widget and integration tests), ensuring reliable deliveries; • Continuously work on performance optimization, including rendering analysis, memory management and improving the user experience; • Handle the full mobile release cycle, including versioning, signing, environment management (flavors) and publishing to the stores; • Contribute to the evolution of CI/CD pipelines, test automation and continuous release processes; • Keep technical documentation up to date (READMEs, ADRs, Confluence), promoting knowledge sharing and traceability; • Collaborate with product and backend teams to ensure consistency in API contracts and a seamless user experience.
Job Requirements
- Proven experience developing mobile applications, with strong expertise in Flutter/Dart in production environments;
- Experience publishing and maintaining apps on the App Store and/or Google Play, including version management and production fixes;
- Ability to work in short delivery cycles with organization, autonomy and a focus on continuous delivery;
- Active use of generative AI tools in development (such as Claude, ChatGPT or GitHub Copilot) — mandatory requirement;
- Strong command of Flutter/Dart in production, with emphasis on performance, architecture and scalability;
- Ability to structure applications following engineering best practices (Clean Architecture, SOLID, DI);
- Consistent experience integrating with REST APIs, with an understanding of contracts, resilience and data quality;
- Strong knowledge of mobile testing (unit, widget, integration) and a quality-driven mindset;
- Experience with the full mobile development lifecycle, including publishing and production support;
- Ability to work with generative AI in development, crafting good prompts and critically evaluating AI outputs.
