Our Tech Delivery Team owns our payment platform end-to-end, including critical backend systems that process high-volume, low-latency transactions securely and reliably. We’re currently looking for an experienced Front End Engineer to help build, maintain and evolve the internal and customer facing dashboard systems. About the Role As a Front End Engineer in the Tech Delivery Team, you’ll work on developing and maintaining both internal and customer facing web applications used to operate our payments platform. You’ll be part of a cross-functional team focused on scalability, security, and performance. Responsibilities - Design, develop, and maintain React-based web applications. - Collaborate with product managers and backend engineers to deliver a compelling user interface - Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following best practices. - Participate in code reviews and ensure code quality. - Troubleshoot and debug issues in existing software. - Work on improving performance, scalability, and reliability of services. - Contribute to the continuous improvement of software development processes. - Stay up-to-date with the latest web technologies and best practices. Qualifications - Min 5 years of professional experience in frontend development, including React experience. - Experience developing customer-facing applications - Strong CSS experience and ability to build new components that are stylistically consistent with an existing design system. - Familiarity with CI/CD practices and tools (e.g., BuildKite, etc). - Secure programming - knowledge of common threats and how to recognise and avoid writing exploitable code - Strong understanding and experience with Frontend performance and optimization techniques. - Strong problem-solving skills. - Ability to work collaboratively in a team.
