The Role Responsible for leading a large cross-functional team in the development and delivery of Lumen Consumer services aligned with business objectives, priorities and the portfolio roadmap. On-scope, on-time, and on-budget delivery of the product portfolio objectives, including business requirements definition, driving cohesive end-to-end solutions, creation and management of project structures, as well as alignment of resources are critical to the success of strategic initiatives. This role requires adherence to prescribed stage-gate new product development methodology (including mix of rapid development and staged development based on program goals and deliverables), project management, change management processes, strong communication skills, and implementation of project/business based financial controls. Serving as a critical business leader in the on-going evolution of the company’s Product Solutions, the Lead Product Development Manager will establish relationships with key leaders from across the business and with external partners critical to the success of programs, including but not limited to direct interaction with individual contributors, manager, director, and vice president leadership. The Main Responsibilities - Demonstrated ability to drive projects from Product Requirements Document (PRD) creation through production deployment and serve as the ultimate owner for assigned initiatives. - Strong planning and execution support skills including facilitating monthly PC planning and retrospective ceremonies and supporting the planning cadence by ensuring work is accurately represented, dependencies are visible, priorities are organized, and planning discussions are based on delivery-ready information. - Experience supporting planning operations through sprint close, backlog updates, planning readiness review, and ongoing Jira hygiene to ensure accurate reporting and continuity between sprint execution and monthly PC Planning. - Advanced Atlassian skills, including query creation for Jira and Jira Product Discovery, dashboard and report development, backlog integrity, workflow hygiene, and maintenance of planning data needed to support PC Planning and execution visibility. - Ability to identify and resolve risks, blockers, dependencies, and handoff gaps that may impact planning commitments, milestone attainment, or successful delivery. Strong cross-functional collaboration skills, with the ability to work across Product, Engineering, and business teams to support planning, execution, and project continuity. - Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities while maintaining visibility, accuracy, and follow-through across the delivery lifecycle. - Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills, including the ability to translate planning and execution data into actionable insight. - Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to provide status, escalate issues, and support alignment across stakeholders. - Ability to support strategic initiatives from ideation through development and lifecycle management in a fast-changing environment with evolving processes and priorities.
