Job Description

QA Specialist

TransPerfect

• Monitor and evaluate interpretation calls for accuracy, completeness, tone, protocol adherence, and customer service • Complete 1h of call interpretation each week • Use standardized evaluation tools to assess interpreter performance and identify opportunities for improvement • Track performance trends and maintain accurate documentation of evaluations • Collaborate with the Training and Operations teams to support continuous improvement efforts • Participate in calibration sessions to ensure consistency and alignment in scoring • Assist with investigations into quality-related complaints or incidents • Escalate quality concerns and support action plans as needed • Stay up to date on industry best practices, Spanish-language nuances, and interpretation protocols

Job Requirements

  • Full professional fluency in both English and ONE of the following languages: Mandarin, Cantonese, Vietnamese, Tagalog, Korean, Japanese
  • Minimum of 6 months of experience in over-the-phone interpretation
  • In-depth knowledge of TPC interpreter ethics and industry standards
  • Excellent analytical listening, documentation, and written communication skills
  • Ability to provide feedback in a professional and supportive manner
  • Ability to work independently and managing time effectively
  • Comfortable working with QA platforms, call logs, and performance dashboards
  • Prior experience in a QA, coaching, or call monitoring role (preferred)

This role sits within the Platform organization in Autodesk's Product Design and Manufacturing Solutions (PDMS) division. We're looking for a Software Quality Assurance Engineer to help us support the in-market product as well as build new experiences that delight users need. You will be a primary member of a North America scrum team but share QA responsibilities between that team and another based in India. Responsibilities - Analyze project requirements, user stories, and specifications to identify the features and functionalities that need to be tested. - Collaborate with the development team and stakeholders to ensure a clear understanding of the testing scope. - Participate in requirement reviews and provide input on testability and potential quality issues. - Assists in documenting test dependencies, assumptions, and test environment requirements. - Follow test schedules and report progress to the QA lead or project manager. - Conduct various types of testing, such as functional, integration, regression, and performance testing, as required.Identify and communicate risks and issues that affect the quality of the product. - Contribute to the documentation of test summary reports, defect reports, and other relevant information. - Participate in design reviews, code reviews, and Agile ceremonies. - Work as part of a collaborative team of software engineers, QAs, and designers in Canada, Portland OR, and other worldwide engineering sites. Minimum Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience - 0 - 3 years of experience in software quality assurance - Experience performing manual testing of desktop applications on Windows, Linux, or macOS - Ability to analyze log files, interpret call stacks, and trace application behavior to identify root causes of failures - Desire to become proficient in test automation. - Familiarity with JavaScript, TypeScript, or C++ - Experience with network debugging tools (e.g . fiddler, Charles, Chrome DevTools) - Basic understanding of project timelines, milestones, and update plans. - Curiosity and adaptability to learn new technologies and domains quickly - Empathy for users and a strong sense of product ownership - Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English - Ability to work well in a team to deliver on team goals.
