• The Jira & Confluence Administrator serves as the strategic and technical owner of the Atlassian collaboration platform, overseeing enterprise-wide administration, governance, and continuous improvement of Jira and Confluence. • This role is responsible for evaluating evolving business needs across the user community and delivering solutions through workflow design and system integrations. • The position ensures both platforms remain scalable, secure, and well-integrated, while aligning with Agile delivery principles and portfolio/project management (PPM) best practices. • Managing and supporting administrative functions for JIRA and additional Atlassian products as required. • Stay current with Atlassian products and administration best practices and provide guidance to teams on platform capabilities and recommended approaches. • Build and manage advanced automation rules and custom configurations. • Lead advanced administration of Jira Software and Confluence, including workflows, spaces, schemes, screens, issue types, templates, permissions, and integrations. • Working with internal stakeholders to understand their requirements and design and implement solutions to fit their needs. • Evaluating, deploying and managing the use of Atlassian products to meet business evolving needs. • Developing, testing and deploying integrations between Atlassian products and other Moneris systems (ServiceNow, Confluence, Reporting, Pipelines). • Providing support and promoting adoption and best practices for the Atlassian suite across the user community. • Design and deliver executive-level dashboards and reports in Jira and Confluence to provide visibility into delivery performance, flow metrics, and portfolio health; embed reports, roadmaps, and KPIs into Confluence for leadership consumption, while ensuring data quality, consistency, and traceability across all Jira projects and Confluence spaces.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or certification; or equivalent work experience
- Minimum 5 years’ of experience administering Jira Software and Confluence
- Atlassian Certifications desired
- Strong Understanding of Agile
- Highly proficient in leading large scale projects or significant project steps and communicating progress/approach with technical/non-technical peers/clients and leaders.
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills
- Able to manage and prioritize multiple concurrent tasks
