About the Role: The Sr. Ecommerce Planner Contractor is a highly collaborative role, responsible for the management of assortment and inventory plans, to achieve IPSY’s sales and profitability targets through pre-season plan development, in-season re-forecasting, management of inventory investments, as well as ownership of unit economics and open-to-buy. IPSY is looking for a motivated, data driven thought-leader who thrives in a fast-paced, startup environment. The ideal candidate takes initiative, particularly when working cross-functionally with Merchandising, Brand Partnerships, Finance, and Marketing to support IPSY’s evolving business needs. To be considered, you must have experience directly managing others, deep inventory management experience, a passion/excitement for building new tools and processes, comfort with ambiguity and be a nimble, strategic thinker who can synthesize large amounts of data to drive decision making. You will have outstanding drive, critical thinking and problem-solving skills, and an advanced skill set in Excel / Google Sheets. This position reports to the VP of Planning and is fully remote from Argentina. What You’ll Be Doing: - Build Category, Class, and SKU level sales & unit economics forecasts with supporting investment quantities and accurate flow forecasts. Proactively identify margin-expansion opportunities through strategic pricing and bundle optimization. - Cross-functional S&OP modeling and process leadership experience; inclusive of demand planning, supply planning, and product lifecycle management - Partner with the Growth & Marketing teams to align promotional calendars (Email/SMS/Social) with inventory availability, ensuring high-traffic events are backed by sufficient stock levels. - Manage deadlines to keep inventory flow and kitting on schedule. Monitor "Months On Hand" (MOH) and Gross Margins to minimize aged inventory and maximize cash flow. - Ownership of overall discounting strategies and actions in partnership with Merchant partners - Orchestrate monthly Commerce events and product drops with Ops team to ensure flawless execution; resolving inventory discrepancies swiftly - Build strong cross channel and functional relationships to influence others and drive results, leveraging both internal and external insights - Act as the "Source of Truth" for SKU master data across Toolio and Netsuite, while leading the transition of manual reporting into automated Tableau dashboards. What We Are Looking For: - Bachelor's or Master's degree in business or merchandising-related fields - 5+ years of analytical experience in merchandise planning or inventory management & 3+ years managing others - Advanced proficiency in Google Sheets / Excel required, including v-lookups, pivot tables & logic formulas - Strong analytical acumen with deep proficiency in retail math (WOS, Turn, GMROI, Sell-through). - Proactive self-starter with excellent interpersonal and time management skills who has demonstrated experience creating, implementing and leading cross-functional business processes - Experience building driver-based forecasts for a large SKU mix with complex product life cycles, including incrementality, cannibalization and pricing elasticity - Flexible and comfortable with a fast-paced, always changing environment; able to pivot on a dime while maintaining a 12-18 month long-term view of the inventory horizon LATAM Remote: Remote positions which may be performed in any of the countries where IPSY has established a Business presence: Argentina.
