In this role you will - Provide assistance for the installation and commissioning of any equipment and components. - Carry out service calls on a preventative and reactive basis as required, undertaking service and repair of products and systems to deliver against customers’ requirements. - Keep accurate records regarding job progress, delays, problems, deliveries, changes, extras, and engineering and fabrication errors. - Report back on the completed projects outlining the activities carried out, faults found during service and any future recommendations for improving the service offering. - Train customer staff in methods to maintain and repair the equipment, to ensure knowledge is transferred. - Conduct audits at customer sites to record and analyze process improvement opportunities. Geographical scope: Primarily Mid-West (Wisconsin, Michigan, Indiana) Expectations - 4+ Years experience in the field with instrumentation and electromechanics preferably in a pulp and paper manufacturing environment. - A technical school diploma in instrumentation, electromechanics, or mechatronics. - A University bachelor’s degree in Electro-Mechanical or similar engineering. - To be successful in this role, you must be electro-mechanically inclined, computer-based system literate, self-guided, and have a strong work ethic. - Self-motivated who excels both independently and as part of a team. - Comfortable handling customer pressure, staying focused, and collaborating effectively. - Overall travel expectations are up to 60% - This position requires a valid driver’s license. Overnight travel will be required within an assigned area. - ABB, Honeywell and or Valmet QCS. - Instrumentation and controls tuning background. - Understanding of paper machines paper making process. What you have: - High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma. - 2 years claims adjusting experience, or P&C SIU/Fraud Investigation experience OR 4 years prior investigative law enforcement (to include military) or relevant fraud industry investigation experience. - Proven investigatory skills. - Experience obtaining statements from various parties to incidents, witnesses, and suspects. - Ability to gather broad range of evidence and draw conclusions based on the objective details related to the applicability of fraud. - Demonstrated ability to organize and prioritize workload, performing multiple tasks and devising solutions to problems. - Familiarity with using computers and various software packages to enter and extract data for analysis from relevant data sources and systems. - Knowledge of city, state and local regulations, legal concepts, understanding of contracts, case law, medical treatment, and medical terminology.
