Role Description As a Category Purchaser for Hydraulics, Pneumatics & Electrical components, you will lead and coordinate Valmet’s global spare parts procurement operations by executing operational and strategic purchasing assignments that deliver optimal value to the company. Qualifications - Master's or Bachelor's degree. Preferred fields of study: engineering or commercial. - 3 years of working experience in a similar role. - Background in Hydraulics and Pneumatics industries will be an advantage. - Excellent analytical skills and ability to make swift and fact-based decisions. - Strong influencing and negotiation skills with demonstrated ability to achieve results in a global matrix organization. - Strong knowledge of Windows environment (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and ERP systems (e.g., Infor LN, SAP, Oracle; Infor LN competence is preferable). - Fluent in English, Other languages are an asset. - High level of commitment and proactive approach. - Ability to work and perform well under pressure with tight deadlines. - Driving license. - Able to work remotely with time zone difference e.g., China, Europe, North America, and time management is required.
