About the role We are looking for a highly motivated, hands-on, and results driven accounting leader to join our Revenue Accounting team! ABOUT THIS POSITION We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Manager, Accounting & Reporting to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial reporting, SEC reporting, technical accounting, and financial analysis. This role is critical to ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial reporting in compliance with SEC regulations. This role will have the ability to maintain and improve our financial reporting processes as a newly public company. WHAT YOU'LL DO - SEC Reporting: Assist in the preparation and filing of quarterly and annual reports (Forms 10-Q and 10-K) and other SEC filings (Forms 8-K, S-1, S-3, Proxy statements, etc.) in compliance with SEC regulations. - Financial Statements: Work closely with the Director, Accounting and SVP, Corporate Controller in the preparation of the consolidated financial statements and footnotes in accordance with US GAAP. - Technical Accounting: Research and analyze complex accounting issues and provide guidance on the interpretation of relevant accounting standards (ASC 606, ASC 718, ASC 350, etc.). Ability to concisely summarize complex issues in the form of technical accounting memos for numerous stakeholders’ review, as well as help operationalize plans to record new complex transactions or newly adopted accounting standards. - Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including finance, legal, investor relations, and external auditors, to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting. - Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of the financial reporting process. - Ad Hoc Analysis: Perform ad hoc financial analysis and reporting as needed, specifically the potential accounting impact of complex transactions. WHAT YOU'LL NEED What You’ll Need - Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA certification is required. - Experience: 5+ years of experience in public accounting (Big 4 preferred) or a mix of public accounting and corporate SEC reporting. Direct experience with SEC filings and XBRL tagging preferred. - Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of US GAAP, SEC regulations, and disclosure requirements.
