About the client: Our client, a US-based law firm, provides transactional services to startups, small, and mid-sized businesses across a wide range of industries. About the role: We are seeking a Legal Assistant to act as a right-hand support to the principal attorney. This full-time role will manage client communications, scheduling, document handling, research, and filings with state and court entities. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, tech-savvy, and able to operate independently in a remote environment. Russian and English language proficiency is required to communicate with a significant portion of the client base. The ideal candidate brings strong initiative, learns quickly, is tech-savvy, and can “connect the dots” without requiring step-by-step direction. Previous experience with U.S. law firms is preferred What you’ll be doing: - Manage and organize the attorney’s calendar, appointments, and meetings. - Communicate with clients professionally via email and phone calls. - Draft, format, and file legal and corporate documents with state entities and courts. - Conduct basic legal research and gather relevant information from public websites. - Maintain and organize files using Google Drive or similar platforms. - Ensure all client and case information is documented accurately. - Support transactional and occasional litigation matters, including court filings and due date tracking. - Assist in onboarding new clients and managing ongoing client interactions. Who are we looking for? - 2+ years of experience as a virtual assistant, legal assistant, or similar role supporting law firm operations. - Fluency in Russian and English (spoken and written) is required. - Comfortable communicating directly with clients, state entities, and court systems. - High proficiency with Google Workspace (Gmail, Google Drive, Docs, Sheets). - Strong organizational, multitasking, and time-management skills. - Proactive, positive, and willing to learn and adapt quickly. - Ability to work independently in a remote environment. - Comfortable handling confidential and sensitive client information. - Experience working in a US law firm is a plus.
