Senior Contracts Manager

• Own end-to-end contract lifecycle management for a broad portfolio of commercial agreements, including SaaS subscription agreements, NDAs, vendor agreements, and amendments • Draft, review, redline, and negotiate contract terms directly with customers and vendors, including real-time discussion and problem solving, escalating to legal counsel as needed • Serve as the primary point of contact and subject matter expert for contract-related inquiries from Sales, Finance, and Customer Success teams, providing timely guidance and enabling deal velocity • Develop, maintain, and continuously improve contract templates, clause libraries, fallback positions, and contracting playbooks to standardize and streamline the contracting process • Identify process gaps and lead initiatives to improve contracting workflows, reduce cycle times, and scale the contracts function in support of business growth • This role may require occasional travel (up to 5%) for team meetings, training, or company events

Job Requirements

  • 7+ years of relevant experience in contracts management or a related role
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience), required
  • Demonstrated expertise negotiating and drafting a broad range of commercial agreements, including SaaS subscription agreements, NDAs, vendor agreements, and amendments, ideally in a B2B technology or SaaS environment
  • Strong working knowledge of SaaS-specific contract concepts, including subscription models, SLAs, data processing agreements (DPAs), and indemnification and limitation of liability clauses
  • Extensive experience using a contract lifecycle management (CLM) platform
  • Proven ability to manage a high-volume contract workload independently, with strong prioritization skills, problem solving abilities and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills with both cross-functional internal stakeholders and customers, with the ability to translate complex contractual language into clear, business-friendly guidance
  • Excellent formal drafting skills
  • Nice-to-have skills: Expertise with Ironclad, including workflow configuration, template management, and playbook management
  • Familiarity with Salesforce (or similar CRM) tools, and experience managing contracts in an integrated Salesforce-CLM environment
  • Experience working with customers and colleagues outside the United States

About this role: As part of Wells Fargo Auto, the Auto Relationship Manager will be responsible for cultivating and maintaining relationships with medium to large and complex and/or high producing auto dealer accounts within the assigned market territory.
