Role Description As a Technology Project Manager, you will lead projects and programs from initiation to successful release. You will work with Technical Product Managers, Data Scientists, Engineering, and key business stakeholders and leaders to: - Create an execution plan - Actively manage a project timeline - Achieve key milestones - Define and report on project KPIs - Support release to production Your role is critical to the timely rollout of releases to production and to ensure the project execution process operates smoothly. • Acts as key interface with the local Convergint Specialist and Project management to ensure job is executed as required • Acts as key interface with the customer and maximizes customer satisfaction • Ensures projects are effectively executed to budgeted cost and time schedules, specifically responsible for documenting all change orders for jobs to ensure all local hours are captured as well as Integrated Project Management team costs • Identifies potential project risks and assists to develop/implement strategies to minimize impact • Develop and implement strategies for controlling deviations from estimated costs and project deadlines • Performs other duties and responsibilities as requested or required

Preferred Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field - 4+ years of experience in project management. - 6+ years of experience in business analysis. Job Summary Manages and oversees all aspects of medium- to large-scale technology projects, including scope, costs, schedules, internal staffing, outside vendors, and contractual deliverables. Ensures all projects are completed on-time and within budget. Major Tasks, Responsibilities, and Key Accountabilities - Develops, analyzes, and manages project plans, schedules, and resource forecasts and makes adjustments as needed. - Manages project financials and provides input and justification for costs and budgetary impacts. - Communicates project goals to the team, coordinates team activities to ensure project milestones are achieved, and provides performance feedback on project objectives. - Controls and mitigates project risks by analyzing and identifying trigger events. - Establishes contingency plans, anticipates and communicates dependencies affected by ongoing project changes, and recommends ways to mitigate future risks. - Oversees the alignment, buy-in, and support of diverse project stakeholders by building and maintaining relationships with internal customers, third party vendors, and senior management. - Provides insight and recommendations to management to assist in the development of project goals, inform the prioritization of deliverables, and facilitate decisions necessary for project delivery. - Gathers, maintains, and communicates lessons learned and feedback to project stakeholders and management. Work Environment - Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable. - Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles. - Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time. Education and Experience - Typically requires BS/BA in a related discipline. Generally 8+ years of experience in a related field OR MS/MA and generally 5+ years of experience in a related field. Certification is required in some areas.
