Job Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a degree program in Business Informatics, Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field
- Hands-on experience or strong interest in automation tools (n8n, Make.com, Zapier, etc.)
- Structured, detail-oriented, and reliable
- Strong awareness for data quality
- Basic scripting skills (e.g. Google Apps Script, Python, JavaScript, or similar)
- Proactive and self-driven
- Comfortable communicating in both English and German

What You Will Do - Essential Functions The EAP Clinician provides high-quality, telephonic clinical assessment, brief intervention, and crisis support while coordinating appropriate resources and referrals, maintaining compliance and documentation standards, and collaborating across teams to deliver compassionate, effective Employee and Student Assistance Program services. - Clinical Assessment, Support, and Risk Management - Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments, provide brief/problem-focused support, and utilize motivational interviewing to address a wide range of emotional, behavioral, and situational concerns. - Identify and manage risk for at-risk callers, including crisis intervention, emergency response planning, and appropriate escalation following established protocols. - Care Coordination, Referrals, and Resource Navigation - Triaging callers and coordinating referrals to internal and external resources, including mental health providers, community services, WorkLife, legal, and financial specialists. - Demonstrate strong knowledge of EAP and mental health benefits while collaborating with community treatment resources, managed care programs, and internal teams to ensure continuity of care. - Professional Collaboration, Documentation, and Compliance - Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation in case tracking systems in accordance with regulatory, legal, and organizational standards. - Collaborate effectively with Customer Success and other internal teams, participate in staff meetings or clinical presentations, and uphold ethical standards, confidentiality, and organizational values. Responds to a high volume of appointment requests, including telephone calls, emails, work queues and other electronic messages, for scheduling of appropriate medical exams, procedures, and tests with and without demographic collection and insurance registration. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS - Answers and triages incoming calls and requests in a prompt, professional, and polite manner; demonstrating knowledge of FPI and its practices, including payer contracts, policies, best practices, and escalation paths. - Completes scheduling from work queues to fulfill requests from internal and external/referring providers, including but not limited to referring requests to schedule, bumped appointments, reschedules from reminder cancellations, direct/open scheduling requests, no-show reschedules, and wait list scheduling. - Schedules patient appointments and reminds patients of necessary items to bring including their referral and medications. Documents referral information (payer, date, reason for visit, other insurance information) in the appropriate system for verification and follow-up.
