What you will do: Key responsibilities- Be part of design and development for Ericsson future radio systems, from innovation and research prototypes to product development and field support- Participate in early design phase studies- Make simulations with ADS, AWR and HFSS- Evaluate and qualify new components- Work with verification of integrated circuits by creating effective test scripts- Integrate, configure and tune the Radio's product during the design phase- Perform Radio unit system performance verification. Typical skills and background include:- Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent technical discipline (Bachelor's degree with extensive relevant experience may be considered).- Strong foundation in radio hardware design with deep technical interest in RF, electronics, power amplifier design, and system integration.- Thorough understanding of Radio HW and SW architecture and their interaction in modern radio products.- Solid knowledge of RF and radio fundamentals, including wireless systems, RF measurements, instrument handling, and digital signal analysis.- Experience in EM layout simulation- Knowledge of signal Processing- Familiarity with baseband-radio interaction and overall radio product concepts.- Proficiency in RF measurement techniques and hands-on use of RF laboratory equipment.- Good programming and scripting skills, particularly in C#, MATLAB, and VEE, to support design, analysis, and verification activities.- Strong troubleshooting skills with a structured and practical approach to problem solving.- Understanding of radio product lifecycle, from concept and design to verification and production support.- Curious, self-driven, and motivated to continuously learn and grow within radio and PA product development.- Solution-oriented mindset with the ability to innovate and drive technical improvements.- Strong collaboration and communication skills, enabling effective interaction with development, system, and product engineering teams.- Team-oriented with a clear focus on collective success and knowledge sharing.- Comfortable working in Lean and Agile development environments and actively contributing to continuous improvement.- Result-driven with a service-minded and quality-focused approach.- Ability to work effectively in English; capability to collaborate in Japanese is a strong advantage.
