Position: MORTGAGE BROKER ASSISTANT Salary range: up to ₱60,000 PHP/month (The final amount will be at the the client discretion basing on the candidate’s skills and experience.) Working Hours: Mondays to Fridays 10am-7pm AEST Work set-up: 100% Remote work Holidays: AU Holidays Key Responsibilities & Tasks - Specialized Loan Processing: Manage end-to-end residential refinance applications specifically for clients with "bad credit" or complex financial histories. - Phased Document Collection: Implement a step-by-step document collection process to avoid overwhelming clients (e.g., initial requests limited to payslips, home loan statements, and ID before moving to full compliance). - Deep Financial Analysis: Review bank statements with a "fine-tooth comb" to identify red flags, undisclosed debts, or payday lenders not appearing on standard credit reports. - Credit Report Evaluation: Order and analyze credit reports (Equifax) to identify defaults, late payments, and existing liabilities. - Servicing & Solutions: Perform rough servicing and capacity calculations to ensure the proposed refinance significantly reduces the client's monthly repayments (targeting reductions between $500 and $5,000). - Compliance Management: Prepare and send compliance packs, including privacy and credit consents, for digital signature. - Application Monitoring: Track file status via internal CRM and spreadsheets, ensuring consistent follow-up with clients every two days regarding outstanding documents. - Lender Liaison: Monitor applications through lender portals and manage "Requests for Information" (RFIs) to secure formal approval and settlement. - Process Optimization: Proactively update internal knowledge sheets and trackers to stay current on evolving lender policies. - Administrative Support: Assist with minor marketing tasks, such as updating social media graphics or templates using basic design tools. Workflow & Culture - Volume: Handling approximately 5–10 active applications at various stages simultaneously. - Collaboration: Frequent internal video check-ins to discuss complex files that cannot be resolved via email or chat. - Pace: While the internal process is efficient, the interaction with the client is intentionally "slow-paced" to ensure they feel supported and not pressured.
Job Requirements

- Experience: Proven experience in Australian mortgage broking support and loan processing.
- Analytical Skills: Strong ability to interpret complex credit files and conduct thorough bank statement audits.
- Software Proficiency: Experience with mortgage CRM systems, Google Workspace, and Canva.
- AI Integration: Openness to integrating AI tools into daily workflows to increase efficiency.
- Communication: High English proficiency for email correspondence and regular internal video consultations.
- Temperament: High level of empathy for vulnerable clients and the ability to remain calm in a detail-oriented environment.
