The Roles: As a Sales Representative you will work both personally on site and remotely, with customers from different markets, and the following key responsibilities await you: - Generate existing and/or new sales for assigned across different accounts & industry in your designated territory - Understand customer needs and identifying solutions to non-standard tasks/queries to create business opportunities - Promote and sell products and/or solutions to existing or new customers/partners, and inform them of new product introductions - Develop accounts and maintain positive ongoing long-term relationships with key customers - Work closely cross-functionally with Product Specialists, Tender Specialists, Service & Support Engineers, etc. We will make sure you get all the training and development opportunities you need to become the best in your field, including learning about new applications and workflows in Agilent’s state of the art demo facility. Qualifications We are looking for a motivated individual with the following background: - University degree in Chemistry, Food, Environment, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry or similar background in life sciences. - First hands-on laboratory experience with chromatography techniques such as GC/ HPLC/UHPLC/ MS; experience may have been acquired in an internship, academic project, a technical role, or similar. - First experience in sales is an advantage but not a requirement. - Good level of English (for internal communication & training). On a personal level, you are: - Autonomous, organized and eager to learn. - Customer focused and also have excellent interpersonal skills to interact with both external and internal partners. - A strong sales attitude is key for this position, helping you in your everyday interactions with sales leads/ prospects, customers, as well as internal and external partners, building your network, and ultimately increasing/ securing your success at all levels. Additional Details This job has a full time weekly schedule. It includes the option to work remotely. Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
