• Develop and deploy manufacturing test solutions in collaboration with OpenAI’s global manufacturing partners. • Define test requirements with NPI, hardware, and systems teams; drive Design for Test (DFT) to ensure testability and manufacturability. • Maintain stable test operations for sustaining products, including deployment of software, firmware, and hardware updates to manufacturing test systems. • Build and maintain automated test scripts to support functional testing, diagnostics, and new feature validation. • Lead initiatives to improve test coverage, reduce test time, and lower manufacturing cost while maintaining product quality. • Identify, analyze, and resolve manufacturing yield issues and field escapes; drive root cause and corrective actions to closure. • Design, validate, and deploy test stations, fixtures, and tooling required for scalable production testing. • Partner with NPI, manufacturing and supplier teams to ensure consistent and reliable test execution across sites. • Develop and maintain documentation for test processes, procedures, and system configurations to ensure standardized practices.

About the Role: Dragos has an opportunity for a Senior Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to join our growing Quality Engineering team and make great contributions to our mission of Safeguarding Civilization. As a Senior SDET, you will be embedded in a Product Team focused on testing the Dragos Platform. Here, you will document, automate, and execute test cases in support of new features and functionality. Testing can consist of bare metal, virtualized, and containerized environments. You will have a large impact on the quality of our products. You will automate test cases and test pipelines to provide fast feedback to your Product Team, ensuring the changes you make add value. Responsibilities: - Create and maintain test pipelines in Jenkins and GitHub - Triage and maintain automated regression tests - Raise defects to your Product Team and file tickets with appropriate information in Jira - Collaborate with Product and Community teams to automate the validation of features based on system requirements - Provide feedback on new system features, advocating for testability and ease of automation - Identify opportunities to improve test capabilities and procedures to achieve increased efficiency in the validation of various bare metal and virtualized configurations - Proven Analytical and problem-solving abilities to effectively prioritize & execute tasks in a high-pressure and time-to-market environment Qualifications: - Minimum of 4 years of experience as a Software Development Engineer in a Test role - Strong experience in creating CI/CD pipelines - Strong command of UNIX/Linux operating systems and command-line interfaces, from an administrative perspective. - Strong experience with Python, PyTest, shell scripting, Jenkins, and Git - Demonstrated expertise with and understanding of TCP/IP, including routers, switches, firewalls, and familiarity with the OSI Network Model and how it relates to Linux/UNIX components. - Exceptional troubleshooting skills and the ability to diagnose and solve complex technical problems. - Excellent communication skills, fostering collaboration within cross-functional teams and mentoring junior team members. • Execute manual test cases for new feature work, bug fixes, and regression coverage as part of the Docrio team's sprint cycle. • Manage QA workflow in Jira. Moving tickets through the board, logging and prioritizing bugs, and keeping test status current for the team. • Write and maintain automated tests in Playwright, following Page Object Model (POM) design patterns. • Build out and expand POM to support a scalable, maintainable automation suite. • Integrate automated tests into our existing Xray test management repository. • Collaborate with developers and product on acceptance criteria, risk assessment, and release readiness. • Partner with Customer Support in triaging complex application issues when needed.
