About the OEM Business Development Manager The OEM Business Development Manager serves as the liaison for external partners and internal groups within In-Situ Inc. including Marketing, Operations, and Aftermarket Services. Your responsibility will be to identify, negotiate and manage relationships with OEM partners whose objectives and product/service offerings complement In-Situ Inc. short and long-term vision. In this role, a typical day will look like: - Manage day-to-day relationships with strategic partners and develop a deep understanding of their applications, product systems, and long-term business strategies. - Conduct prospecting, lead development, technical solution identification, and closing new accounts for standard Core sensor module products against sales targets. - Manage commercial agreements with new and existing OEM Partnerships and negotiate discount levels based on standard volume pricing tiers. - Develop and provide sales enablement training to our OEM channel and strategic partners. - Work directly with other teams, such as Marketing, Operations, and Aftermarket Services to help ensure products are successful in the hands of clients/customers. - Support business case development and investment justifications for new product initiatives and platform investments. - Track and communicate OEM Forecast for monthly reporting to S&OP Demand Planning and Sales Bookings forecasts. The essential requirements of the job include: - BS/BA or graduate degree or equivalent combination of experience, education, and training. - Outstanding judgment, analytical and critical thinking skills. - Highly motivated, taking initiative to learn and ownership of responsibilities. - Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to make presentations to a variety of audiences. - Must thrive in a fast-paced and high expectation environment. - Ability to travel for customer visits, trade shows, industry conferences, and field visits (estimated 30-50%). An associate’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs. The compensation range for this role is $125,000 - $135,000 USD per year. This job is also eligible for Incentive Pay.
