Senior RF Design Engineer
Flock Safety
• Designing, measuring, and overseeing 3rd party solutions for WLAN, CV2X and 5G radios. • Focusing on de-sense impacts of the designed radios as well as regulatory and carrier certifications. • Maintaining and validating Radio performance metrics. • Setting schedules, overseeing production and manufacturing. • Supporting RMAs from the field. • Collaborating with Antenna, Systems, device SW and cloud engineering team members to support efforts.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer Science or Electrical Engineering
- 1+ years of experience in RF and board design.
- Familiarity with WLAN and or Cellular RF test equipment and supporting software.
- Knowledge in how to perform RF Test equipment evaluation and down selection.
- Ability to perform RF Characterization in OTA (anechoic) test chamber.
- Experience with Test equipment such as Spectrum Analyzers, Network Analyzers, Signal Generators, and Oscilloscopes.
- Ability to perform processing, verifying, and analyzing measured data.
- Able to produce clear, concise presentations and reports.
- Developing custom tool sets to aid in data visualization.
- Experience with PTCRB (CTIA) and FCC certification processes and testing.
- Effective communication skills (verbal, written and presentation)
- Excellent teamwork skills with proven ability to work with a cross-functional team and drive for timely project success
- Knowledge and experience with commercial connectivity devices to include Mobile and IoT devices.
- Knowledge in wireless standards namely 802.11 and 5G is nice to have.
- Experience with wireless products and general software stack of these products is nice to have.
- Familiarity with databricks, Snowflakes or similar database software is nice to have.
- Familiar with AMS8500, Blutest RTS65, Ansys HFSS/Siwave, ADS, GSS7000 is nice to have.

The PV Solar Engineer is responsible for executing the PV solar and BESS site inspections, testing, audits, and quality control service projects with a scope including but not limited to visual inspection, commissioning support, EL testing, IV curve testing , inline production monitoring, pre-shipment inspections on finished products, and container loading monitoring. • Define ASIC package architecture for FC-BGA and MCM solutions, including substrate stack-up, ball-map strategy, power delivery, signal breakout, and mechanical constraints. • Lead package-level trade studies across cost, performance, power integrity (PI), signal integrity (SI), thermal, manufacturability, and reliability. • Establish package design standards, methodologies, and best practices. • Drive detailed design of FC-BGA packages for high-pin-count ASICs with high-speed SerDes, dense power grids, and RF signal content. • Define and review substrate stack-ups, via strategies, impedance control, escape routing, and reference plane planning. • Partner with silicon, RF, and systems teams to co-optimize die floorplans and package interfaces. • Support package-level SI/PI strategy, including high-speed digital interfaces, power delivery network (PDN) design, and decoupling strategy • Lead thermal architecture at the package level, including lid selection, TIMs, heat-spreaders, and mechanical interfaces to system cooling. • Drive material selection, substrate technology choices, and assembly process optimization.
