• Conducts analysis on assigned client accounts and internal initiatives related to account performance, growth, retention, and trends • Provides input on cross-functional teams to gather and integrate evaluations of customers’ environments, performance evaluations, performance problems, and potential alternatives in support of growth and retention • Validates, analyzes, and interprets information from highly technical areas (e.g. medical informatics, service delivery, and finance) to make effective cost and process decisions resulting in increased satisfaction and retention • Leverage problem-solving skills and frameworks to develop solutions to client business problems • Conducts analysis and provides input to customized evaluations, which include the identification, interpretation, and communication of overall account performance against known benchmarks (including new information from Intellimedix and Care Management Sources) and account-specific expectations • Designs custom analyses using tools like Excel, Tableau, SAS, R, or ZS' proprietary software • Supports internal stakeholders in providing enhanced analytics and decision support • Supports external stakeholders in development and implementation of analytic solutions • Supports and delivers external/internal presentations that demonstrate the value of products • Integrates qualitative and quantitative information to create insight into client issues • Ensures messaging and market position are appropriately communicated and understood by the market

Job Requirements

  • 4+ years related work experience in a Healthcare/Health insurance environment
  • Experience with analytics and inferential statistics
  • Experience writing SQL or SAS code or related code
  • Intermediate Excel skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products
  • Ability to manage tasks independently, take ownership of responsibilities, and meet deadlines
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams and communicating complex information to non-technical stakeholders
  • Ability to design and deliver presentations that demonstrate the value of products and solutions
  • Related Bachelor’s degree or additional related equivalent work experience
  • Experience validating, manipulating, analyzing, and interpreting information from highly technical areas (e.g. medical informatics, service delivery, and finance) to make effective cost and process decisions resulting in increased satisfaction and retention
  • Experience communicating and working with cross-functional teams within and outside an organization
  • Experience with web-based reporting tools, analytic software packages, and programming languages

Role Description The Activations Consultant – Carrier Integrations ensures that carriers and logistics partners connect seamlessly to the Descartes Global Logistics Network. This role exists to translate complex logistics connectivity requirements into reliable, scalable integrations that enable customers to exchange critical transportation data efficiently and securely across global supply chain systems. Outcomes — What Success Looks Like - Deliver Reliable Carrier Integrations - Successfully design and implement EDI and API integrations between carriers, TMS platforms, and the Descartes GLN Document Exchange platform, ensuring projects are delivered on time and meet customer connectivity requirements. - Enable Efficient Carrier Onboarding - Support onboarding projects by acting as the technical lead during integration cycles, ensuring carriers are connected to the Descartes network quickly and with minimal disruption. - Ensure Integration Quality and Stability - Validate message flows, troubleshoot integration issues, and support testing and go-live activities to achieve high reliability and minimal production errors across integration workflows. - Improve Integration Efficiency - Contribute reusable mappings, templates, and best practices that reduce implementation time and increase scalability across onboarding projects. - Maintain Clear Technical Documentation - Produce and maintain accurate integration documentation, mapping specifications, and test results to support transparency, knowledge sharing, and operational continuity. - Strengthen Cross-Team Collaboration - Work closely with Professional Services, Product, and Global Activations teams to resolve issues quickly and ensure successful project delivery across global implementations.
