• Develops project plans, schedules, and budgets, making necessary adjustments to ensure adherence to project objectives. • Documents and communicates delays, changes in scope, and any other incidents that impact the scope of work or schedule. • Develops project budget and pursues all cost saving opportunities to maximize project profitability. • Performs critical path analysis and implements work-around plans to ensure successful project completion. • Implements Earned Value Management (EVM) practices to measure project performance and analyze variances against cost and schedule baselines, including Cost Performance Index (CPI) and Schedule Performance Index (SPI). • Leads meetings and presents consolidated plans, status reports, and progress reports relating to business aspects of the project(s) to key stakeholders including senior leadership. • Identifies and reacts to project problems and recommends solutions, such as reallocating resources or changing contractual specifications. • Oversees and manages the lifecycle and operational aspects of projects, and liaises between project management and planning, project team, quality, and line management. • Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and customer satisfaction goals and objectives. • Regularly interacts and interfaces with customers.
Job Requirements
- Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM)
- Minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience
- Experience or prior ownership of leading programs/projects or people.
- Strong knowledge and practical application of Earned Value Management (EVM)
- PMP certification is a plus.
- Strong executive presence with the ability to communicate effectively with senior leadership and project stakeholders.
- Background in manufacturing and/or operations, with an understanding of production processes and operational workflows.
- Highly collaborative individual with the ability to navigate crucial conversations, resolve conflicts, and foster a solution-driven work environment.
- MS office proficiency utilizing MS Project, Power Point, and Excel.
- Working knowledge of SAP.
