Responsibilities - Provide pre-sales technical consultation in the design, engineering, sale, and implementation of sophisticated products, applications, and solutions. - Working in partnership with sales teams, strategic and industry partners in assessing the potential application of our products ensuring that optimum systems solutions are provided to new and existing customers. - Proven experience of process, tools, and techniques for responding to a customer’s proposals (RFP, RFQ, RFI) and create viable proposals that grow HPE Networking's business in a driven and opportunity-filled sales environment. - Experience and knowledge in developing and consulting on architecture designs, engineering bill of materials, and implementation specifications for next-generation networks and solutions. - Use your industry and product knowledge to engage and influence customer technology strategies through showcasing Juniper technologies during technical sales presentations, product demonstrations, proof of concept, and trial engagements. - Build, develop, and maintain strong professional relationships with customer IT decision-makers and industry partner community - Deliver training and support to our industry partners and customer engineers. - Continuously learn and stay ahead of the industry and competitive solutions, products, and services. - Enjoy the personal growth career opportunity that comes from exposure to the latest technological innovations and apply these capabilities to address the real-world challenges of our customers. Education & Experience - Bachelor's and/or master’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, and or related field or equivalent experience. - Minimum of 10 years’ experience in a technical/pre-sales role as a Sales or Systems Engineer. - Extensive experience in designing/engineering/consulting on LAN/WAN, Campus, Data Center, Security, and Cloud technology solutions. - Extensive experience in implementing and operating small-mid-large-scale Campus and branch networks utilizing enterprise Networking and Security solutions. - Extensive experience and depth of knowledge around the HPE Networking product line, key competitors’ products, solutions, and vertical market use cases. - Long-established experience and hands-on expertise with networking industry technologies across routing, switching, and security technology domains from a pre-sale, operational or engineering point of view - Solid interpersonal, relationship, and communication skills with extensive experience in customer-facing sales activities (presenting, whiteboarding etc.) and Exec/C-level engagements. - Recognized technical capability, ability to learn quickly, and apply skills in new protocols and applications and their context to customers. - Deep understanding of Routing Protocols (IGPs, EGPs, Layer-2/3 VPN’s) - Extensive experience of datacenter network design (EVPN/VXLAN, Clos architectures, underlay fabric) - Extensive experience of MPLS and WAN network design (LDP, RSVP, SR-TE, etc.) - Experience of network security (NGFW, UTM, DDoS, IPSec, MACSec, SIEM) is an advantage. - Experience with management solutions such as Paragon, MIST, Apstra or equivalent competitive products is an advantage. - Hands-on experience with either Juniper or other vendors solutions. What we would love you to have - Proficiency in AI networking technologies.
