Position Overview The Sourcing Manager is responsible for developing and executing strategic sourcing initiatives to optimize costs, improve supplier performance, and ensure reliable delivery of goods and services. Key Responsibilities The Sourcing Manager develops and implements category-specific sourcing strategies aligned with business needs and budget objectives. Responsibilities include conducting comprehensive supplier evaluations and competitive bid processes, including RFx (RFP, RFQ, RFI) development and management. The role involves negotiating terms, pricing, and service level agreements with suppliers to achieve optimal value and risk mitigation. The position manages supplier relationships throughout the contract lifecycle, monitoring performance against established KPIs and addressing performance issues or service gaps. The Sourcing Manager collaborates with internal stakeholders including operations, finance, legal, and business unit leaders to understand requirements and align procurement activities with organizational goals. They ensure compliance with procurement policies, contract terms, and applicable regulations while maintaining appropriate documentation and audit trails. Required Qualifications - Candidates should possess a bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, finance, or related field. - The position requires 5-7 years of progressive procurement or sourcing experience, preferably in facilities management, real estate, professional services, or related industries. - Strong negotiation skills with demonstrated success achieving cost savings and favorable contract terms are essential. - Proven experience managing strategic supplier relationships and conducting competitive sourcing processes is required. - The role demands excellent analytical skills with proficiency in spend analysis and data-driven decision making. - Strong project management capabilities including managing multiple concurrent initiatives are necessary. - Proficiency with procurement systems, contract management platforms, and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel) is expected. - Outstanding communication and stakeholder management skills are critical, along with understanding of contract law, risk management, and procurement best practices.
