Responsible for the planning and definition of rules and quality standards, recommending modifications in the quality of components. Provide reporting for the department and individual performance to quality standards and trend analysis. Provide education and assistance to internal and external customers by providing details and documentation for selections. Monitor the effectiveness of various processes through use of data and internal auditing programs Perform quality audits and provide management with reporting on individual performance Perform trend and gap analysis, providing management with reporting and policy, procedure and training recommendations Respond to routine and complex inquiries from business partners, auditors (internal and external), and clients; effectively position messages in a manner that is supportive of the divisional and corporate direction as necessary to ensure appropriate resolution Maintain and ensure compliance with procedures and metrics that impact quality throughout the department Utilize in depth knowledge of policies, procedures, and writing techniques Appropriately elevate situations that could have broader business impacts Document performance opportunities acquired through multiple sources (e.g., compliments, complaints, coaching opportunities) and provide to appropriate staff member May assist in the identifying technical issues through problem duplication and manipulation of data to provide details to the software development team for correction and improvement Develop documentation and update written processes and procedures for training purposes as well as new process implementation Job Specifications Typically has the following skills or abilities: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field; in lieu of degree 4 years functional experience Demonstrated ability to work independently and within a team with minimal supervision; takes initiative to effectively carry out responsibilities Demonstrated ability to effectively coach and communicate with all levels of employees; possesses strong interpersonal skills Experience in handling and resolving moderate to complex assignments and communicating results and recommendations to management Demonstrated flexibility to handle multiple issues requiring changes in priorities and workflow Knowledge of internal audit process and procedures Proficient using Microsoft Excel Excellent problem solving, critical thinking and effective negotiations skills Ability to work within complex systems to extract information needed to support the business Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills Ability to regularly exercises discretion and independent judgment the in performance of his/her job duties #LI-VISIONCARE Compensation range for the role is listed below. The Senior Associate, Recovery Services plays a central role in the administration of client work, which focuses on data analysis and resolution of matters relating to Demand Letters or Complaints asserting preferential transfer causes of actions pursued under Sections 547 of the US Bankruptcy Code. The Senior Associate will manage a case load personally, while also ensuring group responsibilities are completed effectively. The Senior Associate will interact with clients and assist and support partner counsel in connection with settlement negotiations relating to each matter. This will include obtaining and managing data, analyzing data / defense analyses asserted by opposing parties and/or counsel, and preparing independent data analyses in response. Group level responsibilities include responding to communications including requests for extensions from adversaries and requests for information, case tracker maintenance and creation / implementation of template responses, as well as periodic projects such as preparation and distribution of Demand Letters, filing and service of Summonses and Complaints and preparing portfolio-level reports and analyses. Candidates with litigation experience and / or experience managing preference matters is a plus, as is familiarity with the U.S. Bankruptcy Code and bankruptcy process. The Senior Associate is expected to possess an intermediate level of proficiency in Excel and learn to manage the preference defense model directly.
