The ideal candidate will have strong Agile SAFe and Agility Tool skills, with project facilitation experience. In this role, you will be focused on managing backlogs, sprint planning, and release planning, as well as managing customer expectations and requirements for those systems. Responsibilities: - Lead a team to success in delivering working software products through an incremental approach. Goal is to lead the team to their terminal velocity, remove impediment. - Support the team in achieving daily, iteration, and release goals and delivery objectives. - Implement, enforce and continually improve Agile/Scrum principles/ practices. - Assess team's Agile maturity and coach teams to higher levels of maturity. - Provide mentoring and training for the team on Agile processes, methods, and practices. - Proactively seek opportunities to use process improvement and re-engineering methodologies to facilitate improvements to team processes. - To be a coach and have a positive attitude. This is not a project manager position, although our SMs are leads that enable the product teams to succeed. - Coaching, leading, facilitating meetings, holding the team accountable, being accountable for the process and the product. - Facilitate positive team dynamics to help maximize team performance. - Identify and remove impediments to help protect the team from outside influences, which could otherwise interfere with the team’s ability to deliver. - Experience in managing professionals who exercise latitude and independence in assignments. - Leads, directs, and reviews the work of a team who exercise latitude and independence in their assignments. Qualifications: Required: - US citizenship is required. - Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum 3 years of relevant experience. Additional experience may be substituted in lieu of education. - Must have the ability to pass a Tier 2 MBI background investigation. - Strong analytical and written and oral communication skills. - Ability to work both independently and with a team to solve problems. - Self-starter. Quick to learn and put new skills to use. - Ability to handle efficiently and effectively multiple and shifting priorities while meeting deadlines. Flexibility to put in hours needed to meet tight deadlines.
