The opportunity to improve health on a global scale stands before us. Meet the team: We are hiring for a Staff Business Intelligence Analyst. In this role, you will be a key contributor to the IT Data and Analytics (ITDNA) Analyst team and the larger Dexcom Analytics Organization, working with ITDNA Data Engineers, to provide actionable insights for business function leaders and internal stakeholders across Dexcom. Along with working to provide key operating metrics and insights, this is the place where you can use your data analysis expertise for good in the world. As a member of our team, you will be leveraging state-of-the-art technologies to create solutions that improve the lives of people with diabetes. Where you come in: - Work with stakeholders to collect, analyze, define, and document requirements for data sets, reports, dashboards, metrics, and ad hoc insights - Build and maintain effective dashboards, visualizations, reports, and insights using Tableau technologies - Participate in Enterprise Analytics Platform (EAP) design and development: define and operationalize new data sets, identify changes to existing data sets - Provide end user support/guidance on best practices and approaches to design/implement effective, standardized dashboards and analytics - Develop and operationalize efficient BI data models using DBT technologies - Analyze new and existing enterprise data sets and develop advanced, multi system analytic models - Provide timely execution of assigned tasks in an agile development environment What makes you successful: - Proven success functioning in a BI Analyst role - Significant experience working with key stakeholders across business functions in finance, marketing, customer support, product management, manufacturing, and supply chain - Excellent communication skills both verbally and written - Willingness to learn and use different Business Intelligence tools and technologies including but not limited to Tableau, Power BI, and Looker - Strong SQL programming skills, including the use of SQL analytic functions - 3 or more years generating insights, building dashboards, and developing metrics and KPIs Preferred Skills - Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and BigQuery database expertise - Moderate Python programming skills What you’ll get: - A front row seat to life changing CGM technology.
