Represents the company throughout investigations and at personnel related hearings. Provides departmental administrative support. Essential Job Responsibilities__________________________________ 1. Supports the organization’s human capital strategies to effectively attract, retain and reward talent and foster diversity by acting as a valued partner and consultant to assigned business units. 2. Actively networks and performs recruiting activities such as coordinating and attending job fairs, and establishing and fostering relationships with post-secondary schools and their representatives, in order to maintain a pipeline of viable employment candidates. 3. Stays abreast of employment related legislation while monitoring and implementing human resource related federal and state requirements to ensure legal compliance in policies, procedures, and practices. 4. Supports managers throughout the talent acquisition process with job postings, candidate selection, interviews, and offers for employment via applicant tracking system, Virtual Edge. 5. Consults on and assists business partners with onboarding and retention activities. 6. Advises management in appropriate resolutions related to staffing needs, discipline, performance management, and personnel actions such as promotions, transfers and terminations, while maintaining detailed and accurate documentation. 7. Recommends and approves personnel actions that support business unit and company goals. 8. Actively consults on performance review and salary related activities to ensure effectiveness, compliance, and equitable pay. 9. Develops and conducts training on topics such as interviewing techniques, personnel actions and performance management, sexual harassment and diversity, in order to empower managers. 10. Responds to management and employee inquiries on policies, procedures, and programs. 11. Works to resolve employee concerns and issues, escalating complex issues as necessary. 12. Represents the company at personnel related hearings and investigations. 13. Effectively partners with Compensation, Payroll, Benefits, HRIS and Employee Development in order to provide best-in-class delivery of human resources support. 14. Participates in team meetings and on project teams. Provides input to meet or exceed department standards and goals. 15. Maintains accurate and up-to-date employee related documentation and employment files. 16. Completes HR and personnel related audits. 17. Provides departmental administrative support including ordering supplies and maintaining employee files. 18. May support the Employee Checking Account Program by acting as an employee contact, researching and resolving transaction and fee related questions or concerns. Bona Fide Occupational Qualifications___________________________ 1. A bachelor’s degree or the equivalent combination of education and work experience. 2. Two (2) years of experience in a closely related position. 3. The ability to handle confidential information with the highest degree of integrity. Strong organizational, time management, multitasking and record keeping skills. Grammatical skills and the ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing. 4. A demonstrated understanding of current local, state and federal employment laws and regulations. 5. Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel. Familiarity with applicant tracking and talent management systems is preferred. 6. A valid driver’s license and ability to travel as necessary. 7. May be eligible for Telecommuting.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES The Module Facilitator will provide expert instructional facilitation of ALU’s online learning modules. These life sessions may include short instructional presentations, but are primarily for the purpose of guiding student discussions, prompting them to address how the themes of the module may support or challenge the ideas they have in relation to their mission. - Grading all submitted formative assignments in accordance with the provided rubrics within a few days of their submission and providing meaningful and instructive feedback. - Grading all submitted summative assignments by the provided deadline for each trimester. - Offering periodic (no less than every other week), optional drop-in office hours at times Module facilitators will be expected to adhere to the modules as designed and follow the guidelines and policies associated with ALU’s accreditation and the specific Facilitation Guide associated with each module. Facilitators are also expected to become highly familiar with the content that students cover in each module and prepare additional resources and insights to share from their own experiences that are relevant to the enrichment of student learning. Each module section is capped at 45 students. Most module sections (or cohorts) have an average of 40 students.
