We move fast, take ownership, and focus on outcomes. We are building a company for people who want to solve real problems and have a direct impact on how businesses operate. Ready to learn more? Connect with us on LinkedIn | X | YouTube We’re looking for like-minded builders. We are an extremely passionate and ambitious team building a company designed to outlast our lifetime. No matter the role or level, Spotans (our team members) share a common DNA, and we’re looking for more teammates who share the same high-performance mindset: - Relentless Drive: You have extreme ambition and something to prove. Challenges fuel you. Building isn’t just what you do; it’s who you are. - Builder’s Mentality: You thrive on creating new solutions, not maintaining the status quo. If you’ve founded a company, been employee number 1–20, or have run a venture for over two years, we’re especially excited to meet you. - High Hustle, High Humility: You combine high IQ with high EQ, a low ego, and an unyielding work ethic that pushes you to be among the best at what you do. Our cultural pillars guide how we operate. We: - Spend Strategically. We maximize resources and minimize waste. - Push for Progress. We make decisions, move fast, and celebrate action. - Obsess Over Customers. We remove friction and add value to create delight. - Trust Our Team. Respect, trust and collaboration are non-negotiable. - Act Like Owners. We say what we’ll do, and we do what we say, taking pride and responsibility in our work. - Never Stop Having Fun. We’re creating something epic, and we’re having fun doing it. Who You Are. You are a technically sharp, customer-obsessed engineer who thrives at the intersection of product, engineering, and real-world problem solving. You absolutely love talking to customers and are comfortable building product features on day one, refining an AI assistant the next, and presenting results to customers the day after that. You bring a methodical approach to ambiguous problems and have a bias toward shipping solutions that work in practice, not just in theory. You care deeply about customer outcomes and see technology as a means to an end, helping businesses run safer, more efficient operations. You are truly excited about AI stepping to the physical world, and solving hard industrial problems using multi-modal AI anchored in vision. You communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, and you’re energized by direct customer interaction. You’re early in your career but already demonstrate strong judgment about when to push for technical elegance and when good enough is the right call. What You’ll Do. - Own customer engagements end-to-end: from discovery sprints and on-site facility walks through POC execution, production deployment, and handoff to Customer Success - Configure, test, and refine video AI agents to solve specific customer use cases in real world production floors, retail environments, construction sites, warehouses etc. like - - Work directly with customers (on-site if needed) to deeply understand their operational workflows and translate them into measurable AI solutions - Translate customer needs into actionable product insights, partnering closely with the product team to influence the roadmap while managing customer expectations around feature availability and timelines - Drive POC success by defining clear milestones, accuracy targets, and success criteria in collaboration with Sales, Product, and the customer’s operational leadership - Build solutions that can scale in production, not just demos - Make targeted product changes and platform configurations to unblock customer adoption and ship fixes and improvements quickly when the standard product falls short - Serve as the primary technical voice during customer engagements, leading problem deep-dives, conducting stakeholder interviews, and co-creating POC Charters that define scope, timeline, and success metrics - Setup A/B testing with properly defined metrics ('what matters more? - precision, recall, etc) - Build reusable playbooks, prompt templates, and deployment frameworks that accelerate future customer engagements and scale the FDE function What Excites You. - Working directly with customers in manufacturing, logistics, and construction to solve real operational problems with video AI and seeing the measurable impact of your work - Using cutting-edge AI tools like vision models, prompt engineering, agentic workflows to rapidly build and refine solutions that work in messy, real-world environments - Owning the full lifecycle of a customer engagement with real accountability for outcomes, not just shipping code and moving on - Communicating complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders in a way that builds trust and drives decisions - Being methodical: defining success criteria, scoping problems carefully, testing hypotheses, and iterating based on data rather than assumptions - Working at a rapidly growing startup where your work directly unblocks revenue, shapes what gets built, and defines how the company goes to market - Sitting at the intersection of product, engineering, and sales where the best signal about what to build next comes from the people closest to customers What Gets Our Attention. - 1–3 years of experience in working on software projects, solutions engineering, or a technical customer-facing role - Hands on experience with Javascript (required) - Hands-on experience building software products, with comfort working across the stack (frontend, backend, or both) - Strong written and verbal communication skills. You can explain technical decisions to both engineers and operations leaders with equal clarity - A methodical, structured approach to problem-solving with an ability to scope work and manage your own timelines - Experience with AI/ML technologies, particularly vision models, prompt engineering, or building AI-powered workflows - Comfort traveling to customer sites and working on-site in industrial environments (manufacturing, logistics, warehousing, construction) - A bias toward action, you ship working solutions quickly and iterate, rather than waiting for perfection - Curiosity about how physical-world businesses operate and genuine interest in learning customer workflows end-to-end - Familiarity with modern development tools, Git, and AI-augmented coding practices - A customer-first mindset with the resilience to navigate ambiguity, shifting requirements, and imperfect information What’s In It For You: - Base Salary Range: $100,000-$125,000 . Spot AI considers multiple factors when considering compensation offers, including geography. - Equity: Meaningful early stage equity. - Benefits: Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance, along with a range of other benefits. - Impact: At Spot AI, every team member has the opportunity to make a significant impact. Your contributions will directly influence the product, strategy, and trajectory of the company. Come build the future of Video Intelligence with us! We are creating and cultivating a diverse and inclusive culture where we celebrate individuals for what they accomplish, no matter who they are! As an equal opportunity employer, we do not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, color, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, age, marital status, veteran status, or disability status. #LI-REMOTE
